I'm no fan of Rooney, but I do think this is being blown out of proportion, I bet the young lads absolutely love having Englands all time top goalscorer joining in training. 
One thing you have to ask though, how has this story made it to the press? His agent? Or has someone within the club let it slip, at such a key and critical time, why?
His character has taken an absolute beating since his comments on Saturday.

To be fair it will be quite an achievement if Sheffield United Fulham and WBA fail to get promoted this coming season what parachute payments and players deemed good enough for the premiership largely still on their playing staff and the rest of the championship having zero income and debts needing paying all over the place.

If this is the case, tell Morrison and co, in polite terms “bugger off” and get Sibley etc some game time?

Stearman looks fairly reliable, Aluko looks like he could add something up top but fitness an issue, Baldock lively but not a lone striker, Morrison okay but was much better last week. Carroll showed very little apart from a shot. Nothing much to say about Jagielka and Allsop.
Forsyth okay again, McDonald and Ebosele lively, Sibley good apart from silly booking. Not much from Hutchinson this time.
The rest of the side really just fit into the stereotypes we have of them. We know their limitations and they were on show.
Tactically we showed nothing. Didn't make any changes to stop their danger men, and didn't do enough to get the better of their weaknesses.

If he goes for a decent fee, remember he's a current England U21 player, and it allows us to keep other players then it's not the worst move. As promising as he is he doesn't sure our defence up much at the present.
But, if it's a poor fee then why bother. Won't change the embargo, you'll still have to bring money in and you'll have to replace him as well.
Selling on the cheap, especially to rival sends out a really bad message to the fans, players and potential buyers. Might as well text Leeds to see if they want Sibley for 500k.

We looked a largely carbon copy of last seasons side 
Decent tidy Possession in comfortable Areas of the pitch where the opposition allowed us to have or didn’t press so intensely.
tried to do the right things higher up but ultimately had no one with the ability to make a difference in tight areas or where it mattered 
then concede two very avoidable goals albeit one was a cracking header but the build up to it was typically clsssic soft Derby 
with little over two weeks away and zero clarity on anything off the pitch I am v concerned with how this season is shaping up 
Am hoping .. praying things get sorted imminently

He’s never been my first choice but Alex Neill knows this division and what’s required and can work on limited budget I’d go for him but not my choice 

Way we're going our young player of season will be about 28.
Can see Watson, Ebosele and Stetton having cameos and moments but not fully breaking through. McDonald will continue to be heavily involved and make more of an impact.
Imagine Hutchinson will be loaned out again.
My tip for a real breakout (not played for the first team before) would be whichever of Cashin or Solomon gets a look in first. Also a suspicion Duncan or Plange could make a surprise impact. Whoever comes in will be based on necessity and luck.
I'd like nothing more than for Sibley to be the championship's breakout player this season, with us of course. Seriously, it baffles me now why our shot shy side didn't use him more.

Yet Wazza plays him up front on his own in his first game. Like Marriott possibly would have done, he would work well off CKR if given the chance.
