jimbobram got a reaction from Oldben in Poll: Do we fans need a 'pound of flesh' from Mel?
Mel's intensions for the club were for the best and he's pumped poo loads into it. I don't feel negative towards him and he's been trying to sell for a while now. I wish we found a buyer and could just thank him for his efforts but the longer this situation goes on the more his rep is being ruined.

jimbobram reacted to Rambalin in Worst Case Scenario
If I heard him right he said after the discussions the EFL have removed the limit but they can still only be free transfers, loans and with the wage limit.

jimbobram got a reaction from Ram1988 in The EFL at it again? Blocking signings?
I would agree with all apart from Baldock. I would swap with Aluko. He has shown something we havent had in a while, the ability to take someone on. I think worse case scenario from this, Aluko or Lawerence could play upfront if CKR or Stretton are unavailable.

jimbobram reacted to i-Ram in Supporters Charter Meeting Questions
Upon completing the sale of the club, will it once again have a stadium that it owns?

Can you give a cast iron guarantee you'll continue to fund the club with the minimum amount needed to ensure survival as a club, until any takeover how ever long that will be?

I would like to submit this non football related question, but one that I feel on a human level should be asked.
Mel, how are you and how is your health?

jimbobram reacted to Eatonram in When support is needed most
Not surprisingly support increases when a team is doing well, just remember the heady days of 2014 when Pride Park was filled to the rafters...."Since I was young" bouncing off the roof.......
Ironically we are in a hole, the polar opposite situation and I suppose many supporters will...."stop supporting"
As a fan base, have we got the metal and love for the RAMS that the club is going to need over the next year or two. We often talk of our fantastic support, well we'll see. I rather suspect it will turn out not to be as solid or loyal as we often believe.

Good job he left Derby to aid his development, without doing that he wouldn't have this glorious opportunity to play for Derby.

We’ve got 33,000 seats to fill ????

jimbobram got a reaction from Millenniumram in Teden Mengi - signed on loan until the end of the season
Wouldn’t surprise me if it was Juke at bham. Always linked with him and he’s finally been told he can leave for the right price. 1 mil seems to be the asking price. Whittaker and evans out... juke in ???

jimbobram reacted to sage in Kaide Gordon - signed for Liverpool
He isn't ready for our first team yet. If we have an agreement that WHEN he is ready for a championship loan we get first option, then fair enough.

jimbobram got a reaction from Rammy03 in What would McClaren do with this team?
This team needs a tweak. Just like the team did when Mac took over the first time.
Current team:
The slight tweak would be the formation. Moving away from 2CDM to 1 allows us to get more bodies forward. It already looks a more attack minded formation. Our players need to be told to play without fear. Cocu far too overly cautious. To the point that when we did go behind the whole clubs midset is that we are never winning this game. Mac's mentality the the complete opposite.
In terms of strengthening the squad, first thing he would do would be to look for a CF. other areas which need looking at is a quality centre mid and centre back if available.

Probably take a look at the squad and say 'where's Chris Martin'?

I’d rather have Bielik in the ‘Thorne’ role. Shinnie as the Bryson and then take ya pick for the Hughes role (Knight, Sibley, Holmes?)
Other than the gaping void that is Chris Martin. What we currently have is much better strength in depth than we had when Steve first came in. When Hughes or Martin or Thorne/Eustace were out for a month or 2 we had v little back up. Whereas now we do have many more options. Would love to see him get the best out of this lot. But I’m also mindful of his shortcomings.

Still not as painful as watching him trying to knock the ball past his opponent 1 min before half time.

We didn’t. He did. They don’t read or write in Birmingham. Backwards place
