TimRam reacted to Eddie in Watchable telly
'Black Mirror' on Netflix.
I've watched the first half a dozen episodes/stories so far, and this stuff is right up my street. It definitely has a 'Twilight Zone' feel to it.

My parents bought me a ZX81 (and then a Spectrum 48k followed by a 128k) back in the day. I can remember waiting for 15-20 mins for a game to load from tape only to have it fail right at the end - then tweaking the dials a fraction and trying again.
The Amiga 500 with games loading from disk was a huge advance!

Nice! Looking at the second picture, those tyres grip well.

TimRam reacted to Chester40 in Liam Rosenior
He isn't going anywhere....I don't see the rush. Let him build and when we have actually achieved something slightly more significant than 2 wins, then do it.
PS I really like him and I'm hopeful...just don't see the need yet.

TimRam reacted to derby8 in EFL Highlights on ITV
Highlights or full match on Rams tv mean the itv highlights of less interest.
The Rams tv highlights also get posted onto youtube which is available on many tvs these days without the need for HTMI links, and you can make a highlights playlist as the season progresses so all in one place.

TimRam got a reaction from IslandExile in Clubs you quite like?
Brighton - Decent bunch of fans (I know a few) and loyal despite years at a small sports ground (Withdean) after their Goldstone was closed. Survived relegation to the conference one season with last games result. Take a lot away like us.

TimRam reacted to BaaLocks in Overrated things. Not sport music or films.
Cars (the transport, not the Gary Numan song). Just been somewhere with a mate of mine and he has an £80k vehicle, it was nice - no debate - but my car is worth about £10k and his was probably twice as nice, OK let's be generous and say three. Still missing £50k in that assessment for something that sits unused for more than twenty hours a day.

So, in summary, 3 games in.
Won 1 - just - hard fought.
Lost 1 - one of those games where we mostly panned them then got sucker-punched.
Won another, cup game. Another hard fought, but class prevailed.
For saying we barely had a club, let alone a team a month ago, I'll take that thank you very much.
Loving football for football's sake, not money's sake.
I'm loving our club's big reset. It's a bit Roy of the Rovers stuff. Jumpers for goalposts anyone? ?

TimRam reacted to BramcoteRam84 in Jake Rooney - signed on a permanent deal
How long is this lad signed up for? If it’s only a year that get him signed up for a second year now!! Outstanding prospect! Holding midfielder, too good on the ball to waste him at centre half. Lots of similarities to Bielik. First time I’ve seen him tonight and was best player on the pitch first half.

TimRam reacted to Wolfie in Rate the last film you saw partie deux
Used to love Tron. I'm also one of the few who liked the sequel.
I see they're doing 40th anniversary showings of Star Trek: Wrath of Khan in early September. I'm going to have to go to one of those!

TimRam got a reaction from Crewton in Rate the last film you saw partie deux
40th anniversary showing of Tron at local cinema. Yes it was that long ago. The effects and plot have stood up well (as a side note 1942-1982 is the same time period!). 8/10.
