    There is normally a Pasty van parked up at the Barn park end of Central park (east side of the park entrance). Yes they are handmade, but no chips, just pasties.

    Sad news and a reminder that we are all getting older when our generation of heroes are dying much more regularly, it seems. 
    I loved Motson's commentary and the fact that his son is a Derby fan was icing on the cake.

    Barry Davies and John Motson - Ali and Frazier of their times. When I listen to commentators today, who think that only thing to do is shout I realise just how nuanced and talented their generation were. Even Hugh Johns, Brian Moore, Alec Weeks, Gerald Sinstadt put the current mob to complete shame.

    Me, too. I am working so hard to get a full season away this year  - I've never done a complete season before. If I succeed I will probably never use my new category as I've just about had enough of all the abuse that we older women get from some of our own supporters.
