    Well the website says so:

The Trust works with its members, Derby County executives and Board and other Derby County supporter groups to help strengthen the club’s ties with the community and build the club into a world class sporting institution.

Yeah - works with them. They do this by attending meetings etc. It doesn’t mean they’re objective is to be a member of the board.

I think the biggest issue with RT is it seems to have been around forever but has achieved what exactly? Certainly not its objective of getting a seat at the table that's for sure..look at some of the names on their 'Board'..they are the same names that have been there since Day 1 superglued to their seats..

As soon as they had the option to explore potential fan ownership they swiftly put out a statement to say they couldn't do it..did they consult Derby fans? Did they reach out to potential investors?

It just feels that they have zero ambition apart from  wanting to be the official Trust..

Is it realistic to expect them to be a board member? Also, is that there objective? I’m not sure it is. I, and others were in agreement that RamsTrust should move on quickly in regards to discussing being a board member so the administration process moved on more swiftly. They can’t win with some fans.

Am i imagining Stretton being injured? Sure he had a knock that kept him out? Might be wrong, because you are right, needs to be on the bench

Very odd about Stretton. I thought he looked very dangerous when he came on against Reading( I think it was this game) and he’s hardly been seen since. He’s definitely a good option to have, I like him.

    Hi Jim,

I do think it's best you listen to all supporters as the handling with Mel Morris was poor. I'm sorry if that offends but I didn't agree with RAMS trust being the only opinion or supporters view which mattered. Derby is all of our football club not just RAMS trust and I believe you guys should of been on here before representing us.

With that in the past and things moving forward, Maybe a MOD from here could be on the Rams Trust or we could have a section for questions which we feel needs to be relayed/ Answered. As the RAMS trust is the voice of the Fans. Should RAMS trust be the only recognised supporters trust as you have not been very active in the fan groups before the dreaded Silence of the Rams? Surely a representative from here, the West Stand, East Stand, North and South stands so there is a voice from a range of angles?

    Kind regards

I don’t think anyone handled the Morris situation well, including reps from this forum. It was a mess unfortunately, mostly caused by Morris and those at the club.

RamsTrust seem to be unfairly lambasted for putting things forward to the club and being wholly representative of all fans opinions. You’ll never get 30,000 plus all having the same view. The point that others have of ‘I don’t think that so why are they saying that to the club’ winds me up.
I do think that RamsTrust should have a wider presence on social media and here. Showcasing the work that they are doing so there presence is larger. Many don’t have a clue what they do, me included. The 1884 group, Rams Protest Group etc all were more active. Considering this forum is viewed by many, things like this are a good start.

  5. It’s good to hear some positive news. CK’s honesty is refreshing and the info he has put out has been interesting so far. Comparisons to Alonso are easy when you consider his age and potential wealth, but I don’t think he’s a chancer.

It will be interesting how the new owners are decided if there is more than one buyer interested. Is it simply a case of the richest gets the club??

Lawrence is so frustrating …at 2-1 he had two chances in a couple of mins to play the easy right pass and we have scored to go 3-1 up…decided to cross to CKR when should’ve squared it to two or three running into box and then a min later shot from way out when he had forward runners ….yes Allsop had a mare tonight but Toms decision making leaves a lot to be desired and is sometimes the difference between 1 or 3 points

Lawrence scores 1 and creates the other and yet you still pick faults. Unbelievable. He played very well today.

2 points dropped though. Very frustrating. We can’t afford missed opportunities like tonight.

Yes, easy if they are in your friends and family. Just tick all the seats you want and click buy, it will tell you you're exceeding the allowed tickets. Click on "assign owners" (it's not very obvious) then you can assign an owner to each ticket you've bought. It doesn't take long once you've got the tickets in your basket.

It even works out what price they should pay (if some are oldies/youngies.)

    Amazing - thank you!

  8. Is there anyway you can order multiple tickets from one account? I have numerous Fan IDs in my relationships section but have no idea how to order multiple tickets or if it’s even possible? Would like seats altogether for different people so would be easier to order on one account if poss? Any help would be much appreciated.

Mostly, over the last few seasons Derby have competed at the top of the Championship consistently, which is an incredibly tough thing to do. We have been in the playoffs more than any other team. But for a few sliding doors moments, we would have been in the Premier League.

Mel has also created a Premier League class academy. We should have won the FA Youth Cup but we did win the English youth league and made impressive progress in the Champions League equivalent.

Football is broken and the rules are written so that you're not allowed to spend money to buy success nowadays, but fans want success so on the whole they're OK with an owner who tries to find a way around the rules to reach the promised land of the Premier League. Almost every Championship club that gets there has had to break the rules to do so, but because they have escaped EFL jurisdiction in the process, they can get away with it.

Something went wrong. Maybe it's simply funding too many campaigns to reaching the playoffs, but not getting over the line, and the EFL then catches up with you? Or maybe it's Mel's health and he has been forced to prioritize that and his family above the club? Or maybe it's something else again? It's very hard to understand from the outside looking in, and I think we're currently in the middle of the storm, but I won't judge Mel until the situation has become clearer, which might not be for quite a long time yet.

Something going wrong is an understatement. That man has destroyed this football club. Stuart Webb summed it up - he is clueless about how to run a football club. Administration is enough to judge Morris on. He has left us right in it and put the future of this great club in doubt. Can’t stand the bloke. His rubbish spouted on the wireless made by blood boil.

Also, on the academy. Your points are spot on. The academy is currently saving our skin. Sibley, Bird, Buchanan, Knight are really good prospects. But - is it as great as people make out? We never benefit financially from our starlets like other clubs do. Look at an Oli Burke for example. Forest sold him for more money than we have ever got for our products. A successful academy nowadays is about selling your best stars for 20-30 million. We haven’t done that, and so unfortunately our academy isn’t as successful as it could/should have been. Two of our starts left for compo. What’s the point of being Cat A if that happens? So, although folk praise Morris for the academy, even that hasn’t been that successful.

  10. Brilliant point.

Absolutely no idea how we survived in the second half, barely got out of our half. WBA camped out, but the back 5 + Roos were immense. Outstanding back line performance, backs to the wall, caged tigers. Brilliant. These lads deserve the brilliant backing today, great spirit from fans and team alike. Well done Wayne and the lads. I’d like to go back to playing some football from Saturday onwards though!

  11. So far so good. It’s very scrappy, and lacking in quality but so far the game plan is working. We’re defending their crosses and aerial threat brilliantly. Back 3 superb so far, Williams looks very assured. Sibley has had a couple of moments, Jozwiak busy. A shame Bakdock looks lost.

It’s the sort of game that if you concede it’s pretty much game over and game plan is doomed. But as it is, I’ll take it. Not the sort of football I’d like to see in the long term though.

Started Turning Point on Netflix last night, about 9/11 and terrorism. Got to say I wasn’t quite prepared for how tense and raw some of the footage and stories are.

Its been a good documentary so far and I am someone who’s read up on the topic, but some of the footage both in Afghanistan and New York is tough.

I started to watch this too, couldn’t see it through though.

The National Geographic documentary   9/11: One Day in America is the most harrowing doc I’ve seen regarding 9/11. There are so many different 9/11 documentaries but this is brilliantly done. It goes through events in real time with people who were there. Some of the stories and images are extremely tough to watch, many of which I’ve not seen before. It’s an excellent documentary of a day many will never forget.

You don't think the players we had made a difference to how he played?

Yep. I agree. But that exuberance has gone. I don’t think Rooney handled him well at all last season. He should have been our key to safety. Rooney messed his confidence up and I don’t think he’s regained that. Play to his strengths. We haven’t since Cocu. He could be worth millions or an average champ player. I think he has amazing potential. It’s a shame we’re not unlocking that.

Thought the same whilst watching Buchanan tonight too.

Have any of our players progressed in this timeframe actually?

Unfortunately not. Although I think Bird is getting back to his better performances. Confidence is a big thing in football. Hopefully it isn’t knocked out of Bird if we suffer some negative results.

I wish we had the Sibley of Cocu’s first season.  He was so exciting. I’m not sure he’s been handled very well. Almost as if they’re coaching him out of his natural game to be something else.
