The 40 for 40 ESPN documentary on Jordan attempting a baseball career during his break from the Bulls is worth watching.

I haven't seen The last dance, so not sure if its covered in there.

I’ll check it out, cheers. His baseball career is covered in one episode but not great detail. Two episodes to go of the Last Dance, easily one of the best documentaries I’ve seen, love it!

  2. Agree about The Last Dance. Fantastic to see the psychology that goes into a true winner, the drive, the motivation, the dedication to be the best. It‘s a superb sports documentary that focuses on one of the greatest athletes who has graced this earth. The inner confidence that man has is incredible. Jordan comes across well, really driven to win and pushes all of his team mates buttons to get there. A fascinating and very entertaining watch, even if your not into basketball.

Feel for all the people who gave up during series 3 and missed pretty much a new show from series 4 onwards.

I always watch it when it's on Amazon a few months later cos of the adverts on channel 4. Can't wait.

You won’t be disappointed. Some series end poorly, not this one. Perfect ending and cleverly done, loved it!

  4. The last ever episode of Homeland screened tonight. Outstanding. Although it’s been going for years, and maybe lost its way in the middle series, overall it’s been superb TV. Brilliant acting between Saul and Carrie, the plot reflects reality brilliantly at times. Great stuff.

I watched El Camino Friday evening.

As a big Breaking Bad fan I was really looking forward to this.

What a disappointment. Seemed very slow, not much of a story line, too many flash backs (perhaps for the benefit of those that have never seem BB) and trying to be too atmospheric.

Having said that, perhaps I'll watch it again. It might be one of those films you need to watch a couple of times to really get (as per Donny Darko in my case).

I agree. I thought El Camino was poor. Breaking Bad is the best series of all time, but this film seemed a little pointless, dull with an average ending. I think we could have imagined what happened to Jesse without the film.

As for the Joker - saw it today. What a film! Very dark, very violent at times, thought it should be an 18. Great music to go with the scenes, it will win numerous awards and rightly so!
