    Is it Saturday yet?

Slowest week ever!! I'm not sure I can take the suspense...

Nervous about how little Peterborough will care about their fixture at Bolton now. If we choke there's every chance Bolton will turn it on and we could be staring down the barrel.

Argggggggg who would be a Derby fan?!

I need to be more B4

    I’m also worried about Sunday.

No more anxiety. No more obsessing over line ups, tactics, homoerotic song lyrics and flags.

I might have to face real life 😊

    Saturday?
But yeah, I think we’ll see many changes to the side and squad over the summer. Really don’t get the sentiment of those who don’t want Bird to play because he’s moving on, he’s one of our best players and can help seal promotion, would rather use his ability on Saturday than not.

    Oops! Overexcitement!
    Can’t wait til Saturday

Because he’s a good player, who has contributed well to the cause over the last few years and could still play one final part in getting us promoted…

For reference, as it stands Adams, Hourihane, Sibley, Smith, Thompson and Bird are all “going” so we should maybe just play Fornah in midfield on Saturday 😉

I’d make a prediction that no more than four of the team that plays tomorrow will be in the side for the first game of next season.

Yes but there’s professional s paid eye watering sums on the other team paid to stop them 🤷🏻‍♂️

The other team doesn’t make them miscontrol the ball, kick it into touch or wildly over the heads of team mates.

    That’s a technique issue.

That wasn't the argument being made. The argument is that you pay to watch entertainment. You don't, you pay to watch competitive sport with no guarantees beyond that.

Surely it is fair to expect that professionals who are paid eye-watering salaries will produce skills which are easy on the eye having had nothing to do but practice all week?

You wouldn’t sit at the Crucible for a fortnight watching two players smash the ball as hard as they could until one emerged victorious.

I pay for a level of skill. These has been provided infrequently. I applaud effort of course but I could see that on the local rec.

Pragmatism will work to get us out of the league but in higher leagues we will need to be able to play a better standard of football and that will require vastly different players.

I look forward to seeing how Warne can manage that. As a Derby fan, I obviously hope he will succeed.

I think we've got to approach it like we did the leyton orient game. We've got to be firm, aggressive and attacking from the off. If we can get an early goal then the nerves will settle and we could win at a canter. I think if we get to halftime and it's 0-0 people will suddenly start getting very nervous. We need to be positive and focus on getting a win against an already relegated team in front of another full house which should be absolutely rocking!!

… and hope they have a hapless keeper who doesn’t come for corners.

People who pay money just for entrainment should try the cinema or theatre, sport isn't for them.

I would take issue with this, as someone who pays a lot of money to commute from Bristol to utilise my season ticket.

I absolutely accept that this is a tough league to escape from and that some of the dross I have sat through is a necessary part of our progression.

However, in order to grow as a football club, we do need to play a better standard of football to get any joy against better opposition.

But that’s a question for the closed season. Promotion is the first priority.

Paul Warne knows that you have to work very hard to get out of League One. He has never had a squad to be competitive in the Championship.

We won’t know what he’s capable of until we have established our squad for next season.

Who knows, we may see the ball played on the grass yet.

  9. I have to say, as a regular critic, he played well today.

Nelson was a bit shaky and Wilson was unconvincing, so Sonny stepping up was needed and he delivered.

Still not convinced by two upfront. The ball just keeps coming back our way, so if we play three CBs(as seems inevitable) I’d like to see Barks start.

And can we stop the Waghorn cameos? Painful to watch.

    Ebou, don't make us sad.
Take a Rams shirt, and make us better.
Remember to let us into your heart,
Then you can start to make us better.

    Ebou, don't be afraid.
You were made to go out and play for us.
The minute you let us under your skin,
Then you begin to make us better.

    Ebou, don't let us down.
You have found us, now stay and grow with us.
Remember to let us into your heart,
With you as a Ram, we'll all feel better

    Better... Better... Better...

    Nah, Nah, Nah,
    La, La, La, La,
    La, La, La, La,

    Ebou....

    EDIT:
Feel free to double the original tempo, thus losing the ability to breath half way through, whilst simultaneously turning the lyrics to a garbled incoherent mess, but with the added bonus of finishing in time to get down to the concourse before the HT whistle goes.
Out of sync clapping is optional.
    #The Derby way.

Good work Mucker. Clearly a lot of work went into that.

I almost finished Blue Lights and was so disappointed.

The first one was great, but this is all love plots and little action.

And the acting is a lower standard than the first one.

It felt like I was watching The Bill (Northern Ireland).

I believe they have already commissioned seasons 3 and 4.

    I won't be watching.

    Mrs Badger may be.

    Then again, she liked Bergerac.

What a shame. Richard Dormer was always going to be a big loss. I’ve only seen one episode of the second series.
