Pretty disappointing half really. Sloppy in both attack and defence.
Need to sharpen up!

I find him similar to Jordan Pickford, where he's generally really good in all areas, integral to the team's success... and then he will throw in a really terrible performance and/or make a particularly spectacular error of judgement.
I know that's an issue for all keepers but both his highs n lows are more than eg Vickers. It makes it harder to drop him as his level doesn't ebb and flow it just occasionally drops off a cliff and promptly returns to his normal high standards.
However, recently I have felt his kicking in particular has been poor. He has also looked a bit shaky from crosses. So I'd be tempted if that's been similar in training, but it would be a big call.
I think he’s in the loopy keeper category. I used to love the way he came out of his goal to catch crosses but now he’s more likely to punch them.
We have his many mysterious injuries that leave him on the floor before a miraculous recovery.
And finally the crazy moments.
I’m not sure, however, that Vickers is better. I think from a technical standpoint Wildsmith definitely has the edge. Let’s just hope he can hold it together mentally between now and the end of the season.

I said to Mrs Badger. Don't you think I'm like Larry David?
She replied. Yes <pause> you're a bald bad tempered t*** too.
How we laughed.
But are you disgruntled? 😊

Just watched the last ever episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm. I am grieving the loss already!
Off the wall humour which reminds us of our very worst foibles is a great skill.
I hope LD starts a new project soon.

If you ate your crusts you would get hairs on your chest.
I know women who still won’t eat crusts based on that saying!

Aasgaard at Wigan would be a top addition.
Young, mobile and still improving.

I don't know the best place to post this, but atmosphere is a big part of these last few games, imo.
Popside fanatics are doing a great job alongside Nick with increasing the visual displays - we even had flags away at Pompey! Of course, this all costs money, so if anyone appreciates the displays and can help by chipping in a small amount, here's the link.
Would be nice to get updates on the progress of the appeal.
Even PW likes flags 😊

Only like 6 months too late, but guess we'll take it.
Bit harsh for someone with 6 goals and 7 assists.
At his age and fitness level he’s an impact sub now.
Definitely struggled in a two man midfield. Arguably better on the left side of a four.
Not part of our future so best left as a bit part player.

I would add that the days when I really haven't felt like excercising after work are usually the ones I feel the most benefit.
I distinctly remember once going to the gym after a hard day at work. I'd driven there, got changed, put my stuff in the locker etc and I was stood by the gym door, arguing with myself as to whether or not I should just turn round, get changed back again and go home.
I eventually decided to give the gym a few minutes and see how I felt. An hour later I was buzzing more than I ever had before, after doing a great session.
You do sometimes have to really push yourself but in my experience, it always feels better afterwards.
Agree entirely. Also feel it’s important to acknowledge any exercise you’ve done, whether or not it has gone well.
It’s easy to be very self critical after a slow run or a short run, or a ‘lazy’ session in the gym, but sometimes we are looking after ourselves or not in the best shape at that particular moment. Better times will come.
At nearly sixty, each run seems harder and everything hurts, but there’s no better coffee than the one I have when I get back 😊

With the injuries currently throughout the squad, we’ve stumbled onto a formation that surprisingly works quite well. Collo getting another weeks training helps. Joe Ward is a wing wizard with an eye for goal. CBT looks like an actual player too. NML looks the odd one out though, not quite working through the middle (not that I’m suggesting he’s dropped, he’s still good, just maybe a bit injured?)
Defence has survived 2 matches without anymore injuries. 1 to go until Sonny the headless is back.
Yep, beware!

Is nats drop in form purely a drop,or is it side effect of cbt in the side, who I thought had his best game so far last night and looked for the first time the player we thought we were getting
I don’t think Nat has been the same since his injured foot.
His decision making and touch are off.
If he gets back to form we really will be hard to beat.

I thought Nelson and Cashin were given one of their hardest tests this season. Bishop is a constant menace and didn’t allow our heroes of this season a moment’s rest.
Wildsmith is having too many brain fade moments. Eyes on a move methinks.
