  1. Don’t forget to stretch them first.
  2. I think the music choices have been okay TBF. Yes, it’s loud but we’re all old gits in our area and toes are tapped. I might have one drink before the game but no more than that. I like to focus on the play, not abuse the opposition with a vocabulary of about ten words, most of them involving defecation of some kind or another.
  3. If fans can’t get up for this game without a beer it’s a sad state of affairs. Save the drinking for after the game. I’ll have Smithers chilling the Chateau Lafite! 😊
  4. Yes, let’s get the crowd in position well before kickoff and get the place buzzing. Close the concourse bars early.
  5. I think Warne is trying to make everyone part of Saturday’s excitement. Training with ‘the lads’ will boost their spirits and make them feel part of a winning We can’t risk having players on the bench who aren’t fully fit. If a forward gets injured after ten minutes would either Gayle or TJJ be able to play 80? I don’t think so. Shame, because the two Ws play like, well two Ws.
  6. You are Craig Revel Horwood and I claim my £5.
  7. Yeah, but can he say sausages?
  8. Cheers, was thinking of going to see it. Such a tragic waste of a brilliant talent.
  9. Bolton are 100-1 with Bet365 to finish in the top two
  10. I’m also worried about Sunday. No more anxiety. No more obsessing over line ups, tactics, homoerotic song lyrics and flags. I might have to face real life 😊
  11. Are the half and half scarves available yet? 🪖
  12. Oops! Overexcitement! Can’t wait til Saturday
  13. I’d make a prediction that no more than four of the team that plays tomorrow will be in the side for the first game of next season.
  14. I’m on the Only Fans Hub. Which button do I press to vote?
  15. Prank eh? ….oh okay, we believe you 😉
  16. Get paid Thursday so hoping to renew then
  17. The other team doesn’t make them miscontrol the ball, kick it into touch or wildly over the heads of team mates. That’s a technique issue.
  18. Surely it is fair to expect that professionals who are paid eye-watering salaries will produce skills which are easy on the eye having had nothing to do but practice all week? You wouldn’t sit at the Crucible for a fortnight watching two players smash the ball as hard as they could until one emerged victorious. I pay for a level of skill. These has been provided infrequently. I applaud effort of course but I could see that on the local rec. Pragmatism will work to get us out of the league but in higher leagues we will need to be able to play a better standard of football and that will require vastly different players. I look forward to seeing how Warne can manage that. As a Derby fan, I obviously hope he will succeed.
  19. … and hope they have a hapless keeper who doesn’t come for corners.
  20. If Oxford stay down I think Mark Harris would be a good signing.
  21. I would take issue with this, as someone who pays a lot of money to commute from Bristol to utilise my season ticket. I absolutely accept that this is a tough league to escape from and that some of the dross I have sat through is a necessary part of our progression. However, in order to grow as a football club, we do need to play a better standard of football to get any joy against better opposition. But that’s a question for the closed season. Promotion is the first priority. Paul Warne knows that you have to work very hard to get out of League One. He has never had a squad to be competitive in the Championship. We won’t know what he’s capable of until we have established our squad for next season. Who knows, we may see the ball played on the grass yet.
