You can see he's a decent player but I thought he had one of those days where nothing went right for him yesterday. Just seemed on a different wavelength to the rest of the team. Totally understandable of course given how little time the team have had together.
Sibley was much more effective when he replaced him.
He hit a brilliant pass from a quickly taken free kick that released NML.

I don't think there has been a direct quote from Kristian about not wanting to play in League 1. There was a quote from the Poland manager saying he needed to be playing in a higher league to be considered for a world cup squad spot and I'm sure his agent has been trying to make a move happen.
However, KB is going into training and doing what is asked by LR and the coaching staff. We shouldn't be led to think he's demanding a move due to a Turkish journalists translated tweet. He's showing more professionalism than Byrne and I'd be happy if he plays a part for us this season.
Dead right. And a fit KB would be a beast in L1.

Yeah - and who did he have around him lol.
Meaningless. He did his job so that they could do theirs.

Sometimes, it's not a case of 'how many'.
The one that springs to mind for me is Bobby Moncur, captain of Newcastle in the late 60's and early 70's.
He scored just 3 goals in 296 games - all of them coming in the 1969 Inter Cities Fairs Cup Final
Indeed. George Williams didn’t score many goals but he was absolutely crucial in that decent team cox assembled.

Same here. I don’t buy a season ticket to save money, I do it for the same reason as you: because I know I’ll come to the games anyway and to guarantee my seat. I wouldn’t have a problem if the walk up price worked out exactly the same. The club obviously offers a bit of a discount though because of the guaranteed income season ticket sales produce.
I buy mine so that I can continue annoying the same people I have been doing so for the past 20 years.
Its my passion, a creative Dadaist expression of both my ego and a celebration of the collective experience. They would miss me if I wasn’t there.
And it’s in my DNA youth...
Seriously the price doesn’t really matter. I am lucky to be able to afford ‘better’ seats but I love where I sit. It’s my seat and the people who sit around me have gone from being strangers to friends. It’s brilliant. I’m very lucky.

I’ve been told there is serious interest from our side and they’re working with Northampton for a deal.
I’ve been told that our intent is best described as serious and that a deal is being worked on with his current club. That club is Northampton.

6 goals in 323 games. Oh Jesus - he will fit right in with us.
Even with players going, this isn’t what we need.
I know the cliche of don’t write a player off but he’s literally scored no goals anywhere which as a midfielder is poor. He makes Jason Knight look prolific.
This is a strange one for me.
Makelele scored about 15 goals in 600 odd appearances and he was as good a holding midfielder ever.
Ever.
In the history of the game.
Your reservations are strange.

The players who have come in don't look to me like players happy to toil away in the bottom reaches of League 1.
Regardless of what happens I will be happy to have a club; that goes without saying. But we can also put that aside and be honest without ranting and raving...we competed in the Championship whilst carrying a huge points deduction and I think the team may actually be better that runs out for the first day of the season.
Top half would be my minimum expectation for an 'ok' season.
Challenging and in the mix for the play offs would be about right/decent.
Top 6 would be a good season.
Anything more would be excellent.
I can get on board with this. A competitive team that has a go both home and away will be one that makes me happy.

Rooney’s latest statement (explaining why he left) makes no sense. He says
‘We had no owner, we had no players and it felt I had got to the point where I did all I could’
But he ‘resigned’ just as Clowes was taking over.
Yeah. No problem with him going and all the best to him, but that has a pretty strong wiff off BS emanating from it.

Like the signing. Has scored in League One before which is important. I’d ideally like 1 more striker who’s a bit younger with some pace, maybe Stretton can be that guy but not convinced at moment with him.
Spot on. A top quality loan might be the solution. Here’s hoping.

I think you have to credit Oxford for stifling some of our creativity in midfield. The number 11 went man to man on bird. It did help when he went off.
