He looks ok. Needs to play more but with the age of Stears, Fozzy and Curtis I reckon he'll get plenty of time as the season progresses. I think he'll be a good player.
I’ve not seen anything about him that I don’t like. It’s still early days but he doesn’t have an obvious weakness. He is calm on the ball and does things simply and without fuss. Looks very confident.

Wildsmith did really well to adjust and keep out a deflected shot from range then
been brilliant this season.

We played some seriously dumb stuff. Not what we needed. Chance to watch a home game this month.

Blimey. We were awful second half. Fair play

Very refreshing to see a DCFC goalie catch the ball. He’s made an excellent start to the season.

He wasn’t great against Oxford but got the winner in that too.
Sometimes that’s what good players do. Play crap but win you the game.

Barkz should have scored that.
He should have half a dozen this season. Here’s hoping.

Best bit of business would be to make sure knight and sibley stay. Any more is a bonus.

He's playing a part in a team thats still trying to gel, still trying to get to know each other. Big test for Liam how he handles it, stick or twist? Its probably made easier because we're winning, to start him on Saturday.
Some love from the crowd might help.
I thought the crowd were very generous and understanding last night.

Very impressed last night. He ran miles and miles, gave everything. You could see he’d drained every reserve as the game ended. By no means flashy but skilled and works so hard for the team. Seems comfortable in every area of the pitch. Good player !
And hit an incredible cross field pass in the first half that led to fantastic move. Had his best game for us last night imo.

As well as two niggly injuries, Jack had covid last season, which he took a while to recover from. Hence the reason Cybulski seemed to leapfrog him into the first team squad.
Before that, he was looking really sharp and actually a lot more deadly in front of goal than Plange at under 23 level.
I think the goalscoring ability is there. The question mark is whether he can handle the closer attention that defenders will give him at league level. Division two is a good place to find that out. Good luck, Jack.
Wise words. I assume he was earmarked for a loan last year and the issues surrounding our available players and his injuries prevented it.
