My first post, so please be gentle!
I've not been able to get to a match this season following an operation, (I know, bad timing ?), and had to listen to radio Derby for my Rams fix.
I have to say, while nothing matches the match-day feeling, the enthusiasm of the crowd is fantastic! Even when I felt fed up and a little low immediately after the operation, I could listen in and dream of being there. It must really lift the players knowing that there's so many behind them.
When I'm back on my feet in a few weeks, (I hope), I'm off to Pride Park to enjoy it in the first person, standing up of course because I hate Forest!
Great username ??

Kenny Burns was born and brought up in a Council Estate in Glasgow. He was often found the wrong side of the tracks, but turned his life round through football. I am not going to mock his literacy skills though. I loathe snobbery.
I saw him last week in his front garden in Allestree, shirtless. I couldn't resist shouted abuse, I'm ashamed, not.

If we're hugely constrained on fees and what we can contribute in wages, could Wayne call in any favours from utd?
Or could he train our players properly to not let in crap goals

Agree. Everyone knows that you have to simultaneously throw your top hat in the air too.

Not in grownup's world, swearing in front of women and children is boorish lowlife behaviour, patronising is "Now little lady let me explain the offside rule to you again".
You're in a shoe shop, second in the queue for the till. Behind the shop assistant on the till is a pair of shoes which you have seen and which you must have.
The female shopper in front of you has seen them also and is eyeing them with desire. Both of you have forgotten your purses.
It would be rude to push in front of the first woman if you had no money to pay for the shoes.
The shop assistant remains at the till waiting.
Your friend is trying on another pair of shoes at the back of the shop and sees your dilemma.
She prepares to throw her purse to you.
If she does so, you can catch the purse, then walk round the other shopper and buy the shoes!
At a pinch she could throw the purse ahead of the other shopper and "whilst it is in flight" you could nip around the other shopper, catch the purse and buy the shoes!
BUT, you must always remember that until the purse has "actually been thrown", it would be plain wrong for you to be in front of the other shopper and you would be OFFSIDE! -
Does everyone hate him?

Hilarious how they crawl all over the forum when they want to get their digs in, been constant posters all summer long and as if by magic, not a peep from either @Red_Dawn or@eezzeetiger
Happy to give it, just can’t take it. In the words of Deliah - Let’s be having you!
Maybe they're in the pub socialising with mates after the match.
But not all of them... ?
