Round the Houses Posted June 14 Share Posted June 14 So was at the Training Ground tonight and picked up 3 bits of information. 1) Ben Osborn was shown around the training ground (nothing groundbreaking) 2) Kayden Jackson was also shown around the training ground. 3) Kion Etete was also there at the training ground… but it looks like he was using the facility with a personal trainer doing 1:1 rather than it being a transfer link! Warne isn’t daft, I reckon he knew the Bird Hourihan mix wasn’t ideal. He had Tommo as an option but not much else with all the other injuries. For instance, I bet Rooney would have played and a fit Elder and Ward would have changed the geometry. He didn’t have a lot of choices. Then Mr Adams arrived and the rest is history. He was also a highly rated keeper as a young player but got in a competition with Wildsmith and Westwood when he needed to make the jump. Stagnated.
