Come on Waggy son. You know it makes sense. There is a lot of love in the room for you. Don't tarnish our memory of you by duping us last minute.

I guess TBF we don’t know what the offer is.

PW might have said there’s not a fortune in it for you and you might not play regularly, what do you want to do?

If that’s the case, one could quite easily see Waghorn seeking out other offers.

Definitely the right type of character. Whether he’s still got it as a player week in, week out remains to be seen.

Must be a really low offer for waggy to take so long, after all he's local and his sons in the academy should be a no brainer for him

Offer probably made to his Agent, agent discusses all offers with Waggy, Waggy talks to wife, dog who ever and then decides, tells agent, agent calls club and then waggy signs 2 minutes before cut off time.........maybe

6-7 Hours instead of 48 hours. The timeframes are looking up.

Unless he said “in the next sixty-seven hours” over a crackly phone line

Surely we have to be favourites, even if he may have lower Championship offers.  He’s trained with us for about 2 weeks and played a part in 3 friendlies, 4 if he was involved against Huddersfield.  Would be decent at this level.  Hard worker, good at set pieces, flexibility to play as a 9 or 10 (but mostly a 10) and would chip in with goals.
