It’s taken a while to recognise it for myself, but it’s the weekly battle that’s important for me. 11 v 11. Everything else is secondary Yes it would be nice to see PL standard first touch, ball control, intelligent runs as you saw in the cup final today but as long as there is a certain level of skill and athleticism, an almost full stadium along with the camaraderie that goes with it, in the end it’s a game, whoever you are playing against. It is so difficult to renew knowing that one of us won't be there. He's insisting we renew and a mate in the North Stand will take his seat but it seems so sad to actually do it.
