Charlie Lindsay - Rangers - signed for u21s

Sounds a promising, productive player.

I'm not sure if our recruitment chap has misheard Warne when asked to find us a new Didzy though?

He must have thought he was asked to find a diddy replacement, and at less than 5'4" this kid certainly fits the bill.

I think he'd quite comfortably be the shortest player we've ever had?

Willie Carlin 5’4” , Archie Gemmill 5’5” are the two I can remember

Alan Wright 5"3" ?

Now that's a player I'd forgotten about - 163cm the same as Lindsay, so my theory has been disproved (other suggestions were a smidge taller)

He can have the title of our shortest attacking player, if he signs that is!

A quick Google search suggests Lindsay could be

1.62m

or 1.68m

or 1.85m!

Maybe these measurements were taken at various points during a recent growth spurt. (Or more likely at least two of them are wrong.)

That was last season, so judge for yourself!

Don't think he means tow caravans, more like the static ones you get. They have proper toilets and gas central heating these days

Saw some advertised at Ingoldmells as we were passing last week, £60, 000 , plus £4,000 ground rent. You have to be a footballer to afford that.

On that basis, he isn't 1.85m 🤣

He's not actually the shortest player on the team though!

Him and Thommo !

ack you know, a quick low slung whippet of striker might be nice, Kris Commons was no giant.
