  1. Like all derby fans I have a soft spot for Sibley. Whats not to like. He's one of our own, a Derby fan who burst onto the scene from the academy, with a stunning goal against Blackburn, followed up with a hatrick against at Millwall in the next game . Problem is 4 years on, he rarely hits those heights, with his only consistent run of form being when he plays at full back. Yes, he might not have had a long run in the team in his favoured position. Problem is football is a ruthless game, and when he has had a chance he is usually so anonymous, that its no surprise when he does gets subbed/dropped. Whilst we all want Sibley to be a success and possibly he might not have had the chance some believe he deserves, I would question whether now is the right time to persist with Sibley, when there are more reliable options available to us in the promotion run in. Going back to those games against Blackburn and Millwall, even they weren't proof of consistency, as there was a 4 month gap between them thanks to COVID.
  2. Just because Gregory and Smith were the only names that got into the press does not mean they were the our only to targets. Who knew about Leonard until it was confirmed over weekend . Same applies to CBT last summer, or signing of TJJ or Ward Fact is we run a tight ship regards transfers so have no idea who we are interested Add in fact that still working with EFL restrictions with very limited transfer pots would suggest Warne (and club) ain't doing as bad as suggested
  3. If Collins is out for a while who would be better out of Weston or Wheeldon to step up from the academy Also any idea if Brown has a recall in the loan to Gateshead and when this applies from
  4. Whilst 442 Warne has played last couple of games carries more of an attacking threat, would prefer to go back to 433 as think extra midfielder gives us control over game
  5. Good player, although after recall from Vale, Wilder said they wouldn't be looking at another league one loan
  6. Would imagine Sibley is ok with Warne as he gets more game time than previous managers he played under. Also looks like Sibley listens to Warne as it's under his coaching that Sibley finally cut out all the stupid bookings, which made him a liability to other managers
