I said the contract was being signed yesterday, Big Trav said he had photos done the day before that (which I don't think would sit right with my info), and Warne says the two players might sign today 😂 But I'll stand by my source - the only way it could be stronger is if it was the player himself. For some reason, the press conference was held at the City Ground. And we were playing Forest, but it was a rugby league game. Clearly too itk for my own good. Starting to worry about it now We had players like Vickers signed for weeks before we announced it. Granted that was before pre-season, so it’s a little different, but I wouldn’t worry just yet. We have to have him registered by midday tomorrow for him to be eligible for Saturday. As far as I’m aware, there’s no condition that says the club have to tweet a photo of him holding up a scarf to make it a done deal. It may be a case that we’re awaiting a double announcement, but will announce it tomorrow at the latest. If nothing happens tomorrow then there may be an issue, but I wouldn’t worry yet. Starting to worry about it now The wording of Warne’s answer makes me think it’s a done deal as some posters on here have said and for whatever reason the club has sat on the announcement; Asked for an update ahead of the trip to Posh, Warne said: "Hopefully by 6pm tonight, there will be something out there.
