Wildsmith 8 MOTM 2 good saves. Not at fault for the goal. One stray kick. Comes out with credit.

Smith 6 Steady but needs to do more than just the simple pass occasionally.

Forsyth 6 Did his job. One peach of a pass first half that opened them up.

Cashin 6 Silly foul to get the booking. Very solid, lots of headed clearances but at fault for the non-clearance for the equaliser.

Sibley 6 Why is he at full-back when Roberts is fit again?

Roberts 7 Was a threat when he came on with 3 enticing crosses into their box.

Dobbin 4 Apalling miss when clean through.  

Mendez-Laing 5; 3 threatening forays but poor balls in.

Bird 6.5 Did enough and some 

Hourihane 5 Not sure why he started today when we needed the industry of Knight in midfield. 

Knight 5 He needs game time - when he's fully-functional we don't lose midfield. We never had it today.

Barkhuizen 6.5 Good first 25 minutes when he supplied a lot of ball in but fizzled out at 60 minutes.

Davies 4 Not sure why he came on. He didn't add any maturity to our play today when we were crying out for a wise head to re-form us.

McGoldrick 7 When he plays with Collins he's often isolated so his good possession and distribution is watered down.

Collins 7 Good goal. Silly free kicks conceded. 

Osula 5 Hardly featured but almost stole a goal late on but thwarted by the keeper.

 

Today we dropped 2 points. Albion deserved the point; This one was on the management. They should've known it was going to get industrial and selected the right horses for the type of game it was always going to be. We need a good couple of signings - central midfield and another goal-scorer.

Sibley 7 (did OK going forward and a peach of a delivery which Dobbin wasted)

Roberts 6 (made his presence known within seconds with a yellow; unremarkable after that)

Dobbin 6.5 (always an 8 for energy and enthusiasm but some points have to start coming off for complete lack of composure. Should have scored at least one)

Mendez-Laing 6.5 (got a bit longer than last week but should make a difference when he's back to starting. One good left foot cross)

Bird 7 (distribution very good as per usual but midfield less influential in the second half)

Hourihane 6.5 (put in a perhaps fortunate assist - why not? - and was otherwise fine)

Knight 6 (not enough time to do much)

Barkhuizen 6.5 (put a few crosses over early on but didn't contribute much overall)

Davies 6 (not sure it was any one individual's fault for the goal but bringing on extra centre halves when it ain't broke doesn't seem a great idea to me... he wouldn't get back in on current form (of Forsyth & Cashin) anyway so no need!

McGoldrick 7 (was busy and did some good things, including a nearly-assist for Osula)

Collins 7.5 (good instinctive header and worked hard as always)

Osula 6 (denied by sharp goalkeeping, otherwise had no influence on the game)
