Smith 6     One of those who struggled a little with the Burton press and physicality. 

 

Forsyth 6.5  Least ruffled of the defence. No nonsense clearances. 

 

Cashin 6   Put under allot of pressure by Burtons forwards but didn't buckle. Not his best though. 

 

Sibley 6    Shouldn't have started at LB and should've been moved forward at HT, not substituted. 

 

Roberts 7   Was needed in the 2nd half. Please play him when fit Warney 

 

Dobbin 5.  Lively as ever, profligate as ever. HEAD OVER THE BALL, NOT THE BAR, LAD! 

 

Mendez-Laing  6.5.  Created danger, but end product not there - rusty? 

 

Bird  7.5   Outfield MOTM for me. Important tackles and the best passer on the pitch. 

 

Hourihane 5   Just doesn't work alongside Bird. 

 

Knight   6.  Not much time to make an impression, but got forward well. 

 

Barkhuizen 6.  As others said, started well but faded when asked to deal with a stream of long balls. 

 

Davies 5.5.  Unnecessary substitution and impotent for the goal. 

 

McGoldrick 6.5.  Well involved 1st half, isolated in 2nd.

 

Collins 7. Instinctive header for the goal, got frustrated by referee. 

 

Osula 6.  Not on long, but instinct almost got him the winner.
