Stive Pesley
Just read an interesting article about these new bladeless wind turbines (or "Skybrators" as they have been nicknamed ?) They essentially use complex fluid dynamics to create a vibration as a result of wind, which in turn generates electricity https://vortexbladeless.com/ They take up less space, can be packed closer together than wind turbines, are 45% cheaper to build for the same output, don't kill birds, cheaper to maintain (as the mechanisms are at ground level) and considerably quieter Sounds promising! 1of4
With the ban on single use plastic coming into force in October. It will be interesting to see what some pubs do on match days. Will they have revert to serving drinks in glasses or will someone come up with an alternative to plastic?

Archied
I see king Charlie is saying he intends to allow wind farm profits to be used for the good of the country rather than swell the coffers of the crown ,, if it’s on the level it’s a step in the right direction, let’s hope it’s not directed to the mayor of london to pay for 200 mill of cameras for the ulez extension,, got to be a big money spinner that
Stive Pesley
An interesting outcome. Sounds like the judge pre-judged them as much as we did on here https://juststopoil.org/2023/02/16/you-should-feel-guilty-for-nothing-says-judge-as-he-finds-seven-guilty-and-aquits-two-for-disrupting-oil-supplies-at-esso-terminal-in-birmingham/ Amazing how tunes can change if you just take the time to listen and empathise Comrade 86 and cstand 1
