You will note my use of the caveat 'early days'

They need to offload 3 or 4 more fringe players and get a decent RB and they should finish top 4

Think they’re waiting for Tomiyasu to return from injury. White is filling in well there at the moment and Cedric seems flexible to cover either full back position.

Tavares sent out on loan, like Saliba was, so they’re hoping some experience will allow him to improve after some shaky appearances last season.

More terrible VAR decisions. Had to be a pen for the foul by Stones and it was a great decision by the ref to send Trippier off which should never have been overturned.

You're wrong on both counts but whatever, didn't stop it being a very exciting game to watch which was my post.

I know you can only beat what is in-front of you, but Arsenal have had a pretty fortunate start.

They played a good Palace side at the best time as they had a really disjointed summer.

Leicester are a mess. And Bournemouth are probably the weakest team up there.

Their next batch are Fulham and Villa at home, Man Utd away and then Everton at home.

That sounds like 4 nailed on victories on current form....

Seems these ‘top’ teams simply can’t cope when teams have a go at them - Man City let 3 in yesterday and Liverpool defending was utterly dreadful today - good performance from Untied but helped out by huge holes in the Scousers defence….

Liverpool starting with Firmino, Milner, Gomez - big uphill battle for them. They still had more chances than ManU

Liverpool look awful. They need 6 or 7 new players - that bench wouldn’t look out of place in the Championship. Harvey Elliott and James Milner starting games. Crazy.

Poor depth. They probably could’ve lost every game this season, Fulham probably should’ve won and Palace hit the post late in the game.

Premier League is going to be a very one horse race unless Arsenal can do something.

They’ve been decimated with injuries to be fair. Matip and Kounate both out. Van Dijk has been really poor by his standards and Gomez only came back in.

Fabinho, Keita and Thiago all out in midfield. They need a new midfielder anyway but are seemingly happy to wait for Bellingham next year.

Jota out injured is a big miss upfront. Mane obviously gone which is the biggest miss of all. Salah may get the goals and Van Dijk the plaudits, but Mane is an amazing player and presses better than anyone.

The 7 players they need they have. They are all just out injured or suspended.

It's all about opinions. You're so right about it being a very exciting game to watch, yet so wrong on the rest ?

Let’s be right they complain about playing in the second round of the EFL cup with other clubs and are allowed not to then you find them in Barcelona playing a football match. It’s disgraceful but no organisation stands up against it
