I did do a search first, so it’s your fault really ? feel free to delete my other thread. this has made me very sad hearing the news this morning. I saw some interviews with him recently, and he was actually so humble, and realised he owed everything to his fans. If they wanted him to stay a couple of hours for photos and autographs, he would always do it, cos he figured it’s the least they deserve. one of those people that I don’t think you’ll find anyone with a bad word to say about him. GboroRam
My wife’s got a pair of Meat Loaf knickers. On the front they say 'I would do anything for love' and on the back it says 'but I won’t do that'. May Contain Nuts
For Crying Out Loud can we we show some respect and not turn this into another punfest? (Seriously, this one's really affected me. Gutted (hate that word but whatever)) Edited January 21, 2022 by Coconut's Beard RadioactiveWaste and TigerTedd

richinspain
The original Bat out of Hell is my all time favourite album. Very, very sad news. RIP Meat. TigerTedd and TimRam
RadioactiveWaste
I was pretty sad to hear this. He had the voice and the presence to carry off the show and no matter how naff or cringy the young might find it, it is and remains unappologeticly joyful rock n roll. TimRam
Something you might not know is that he sang 5 tracks on Ted Nugents Free for All album. This was actually before Bat out of Hell. Great performance.
