StaffsRam
So they managed to get Couhig. The EFL and Middlesbrough have put out statements. Our MPs have managed to secure time in the House of Commons, and the fans have raised 50,000+ signatures on the petition. Wtf are Quantuma doing? Hopefully something, but it would be nice to know for sure that they’re not sat in their ivory tower with their thumb up their ar$€. ? EFL saying they've known about these issues for sometime and done nothing. Boro saying they've opened discussion and done nothing. Have to take everything said by all parties with a pinch of salt. But feels a little (lot) like they've buried their heads in the sand, hoped they could just ignore these issues and get a new bidder to come in and take all the liability and risk on, then sail off into the sunset with their several million quid. Thing is, all those things mentioned above, that’s stuff that we’ve managed to achieve since Friday. Oh, and there’s the little matter of the team spanking Sheff Utd for good measure. Yet from Quantuma, besides the mealy-mouthed last gasp statement, nothing. Radio silence. I hope they pull a rabbit out of the hat and they’ve been working on a master plan, but at the moment, when everyone is talking, their total silence comes across as hiding. I know what you mean, and it's raised a flag. But what has the noise achieved, what will it achieve? What legitimate pressure can MP's put on the EFL? I see a lot of soundbites coming out after, MPs will always try and support the vocal majority, as it wins them favour for what matters to them. If nothing else it’s going to have accelerated the timeline for independent regulation. Whether we go under or not at this point, the EFL are about to have their balls chopped off. The pressure exerted onto the EFL and Boro in particular over the past few days, from various quarters, has likely progressed our cause far more than anything Quantuma have achieved in four months. Absolutely get in the bin! Because actions directly taken by boro are causing the rescue of the club to be in danger. Actions boro do not need to take. And are taking only out of spite because they finished 7th in 2019. Radio tees guy completely on board that boro's actions are in the right and the fact boro took them is sufficent for them to be right.
