Carl Sagan
According to Percy in today's Torygraph: "One party is fronted by former Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey, working on behalf of General Sports Worldwide, which includes former Derby chairman Andrew Appleby and former chief executive Sam Rush. It is understood they tabled an increased bid of around £30 million for the club on December 23." Eatonram
A bit worrying if £30 million is the highest bid as this will barely cover football debts at 100% jimtastic56 and RadioactiveWaste 1

MackworthRamIsGod
I wondered if the preffered bidder, Appleby and Co, were working on the assumption we would be a league 1 club, which looked likely 4 weeks ago. Maybe part of their plan is/was to sell off anyone we could get a fee for in January to reduce any debt possible and to force Rooney onto leaving, before taking control in Feb and beginning the rebuild. When CK pulled out, it put the ball firmly in Applebys court, it gave them bargaining power. Only issue now is, we actually look like we COULD stay up, in fact on current form it is likely we do stop up. Current situation may have woken up potential bidders, Ashley for example. The administrators may have unexpectedly wrestled back a bit of power in the negotiations and this could be what is delaying things. Or it is none of the above and Applebys cheque keeps bouncing ? atherstoneram, RadioactiveWaste and RoyMac5

Exactly, the case in point here is Riggott to Boro (of all places) He didn't want to go, and he's sitting there in the press conference looking grumpy with arms folded - but he still went Carl Sagan

A significant valuation for a League One club in waiting. Now the administrators have turned Kirchner down it suggests to me that they will have to sell players to reduce the debt. Nixon says there isn't enough money in the kitty to keep the club running through until the next window without a buyer, so it's sell in January or never. atherstoneram, jimtastic56, RadioactiveWaste and 1 other 1 1 1
