True but having both had covid (pre jabs and public awareness) which put my wife in hospital on a nebuliser, I guess it put us on the back foot.  That said life is moving on.

Wasn’t a criticism, I just find it extremely sad that the fear campaign waged on the public has destroyed the joys of living for many many people which will probably never return

Early days still I suppose.
I was anxious at first being around people when things started opening up but that has now almost gone.

@BucksRamseems to have a valid reason for being wary and but I don’t know anyone who is “living in fear” based on propaganda.
I’m not saying they don’t exist, just that some people will take longer than others to get back to normality, so I disagree that it will never return for many people.

Different perspectives though. For me, I feel I have learned a lot about enjoying lifes 'simple pleasures' and how actually I feel happier without the pressure to fill weekends with trips, activities and socialising. For me this IS freedom! I have discovered how little I need to be happy and what is truly important in life. ?

Yeah we were officially shielding for months but are getting back to normal.  Not as a result of propaganda though.  I guess normal going forward for some will look different.  For us we do aim to get back to where we were, but in stages.

I hope your right , I hope we return to doing the simple things in life without having to think twice and not feeling that other people are a danger to us ( I personally don’t )

From what you say I can fully understand you have had to have a degree of caution

The guy has had actual experience rather than led by propaganda, why is there a need to spin every story to meet an agenda

Is it really an agenda?

It has been admitted that the Government tried to scare the population into compliance, its bound to have left many with an irrational fear of the virus.

the context is someone has personal reasons to limit the risk of infection not that he has been scared by press articles.  But you know that.

Is it irrational to be wary of something that has a (non-vaccinated) death rate around 2%?

Having already caught it once and having been double jabbed, I'd imagine there is very little reason to be scared of it.

If you're vaccinated against it, yes.

According to Eddie s figures 98 % of people have nothing to fear from it ( before vaccination) but rather than give the 2% the information and help they need to stay as safe as possible we terrify the whole population

They need to make us scared....follow the money....?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️

(Just cutting out the next 2 pages where you get all the same challenges as usual, then write something like the above that you think is the final word)

Completely voids the case for vaccine passports imo

and increases the case for vaccinating as many people as possible, as it appears that the only real benefit of the jab is to prevent serious illness and/or death - so if we want to return to "normal" and not face endless lockdowns we have to take the steps necessary to relegate this to a "highly infectious but not very serious" disease
