Things I (and hopefully Rooney) have learned tonight: Mengi, although a neat and tidy defender isn't a RB and gets a nose bleed whenever going forward. Clarke is the most important part of our defence for his composure, passing, positioning and organising. Roberts needs more game time but he looks tricky enough to open up opposition defences. If we could just bring Waghorn on as a rolling sub for set-pieces that would be preferable. The Wycombe goalkeeper kit is perhaps the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. Ikpeazu hits the deck if you so much as look at him, but walks around with a big man swagger, what's that all about? Gregory and CKR have a good understanding and we should probably stick with that partnership as our midfield isn't good enough without Bielik controlling things. We can play rubbish and still win ? I’ve criticised Waghorn a lot this season but he was much better second half. Once we were playing the ball on the floor again he did alright and an improvement on his set pieces ??
