The sort of job other teams have been doing to us for the last couple of years. Marshall and Byrne excellent. For a combined £200k, that's the best bit of business we've done in ages. Davies was solid in defence... in fact credit to all 3 centre-backs. Knight and Shinnie gave us just what we needed in the middle of the pitch. Cracking free kick by Rooney. 3 points in the bag. Not the best performance attacking wise, but a battling gritty performance. The players wanted to win this for the manager, and I think it showed in the performance.
