Waghorn and Lawrence just not up to it. This will bring the Cocu outers back out in force but this is a very poor quality squad - hard to say that because of there being so many youngsters but... Not always a fan of his but the amount of possession we had on the edge of the box was screaming for someone to make the sort of 5 yard runs that he's excellent at. Lowe daft at the end but everyone's heads (fans + players) gone by that point. Cocu's picked three strikers on the bench then frightened to bring them on. Gap tooth ram Posted January 28, 2020 Share Posted January 28, 2020 The only positive I can hope comes from this, is that we don't spunk a load of money on bang average, last minute, panic signings. The play offs are gone, so concentrate on finding a pattern of play, continuing the blooding of youngsters and have a clear transfer strategy for the summer and start working on them now, to give the manager a full pre-season. Don’t know when there will be.Go, Two new CBS, strong CM/ playmaker, 2 wingers, 2 Forwards. But I doubt we will have the money to do this for a long while along with the fact that we may be in trouble with FFP. So a transfer ban may happen who knows.
