So much better tonight.

Wisdom outstanding my man of the match.

Holmes much improved and like the retro Duane.

Hamer with vital double save late on.

Clarke solid and with a cheeky move in the second half.

Marriott worked hard, don't care what people say, better balls will create opportunities he will put away.

Waghorn great attitude but I'd rather have Martin with Marriott.

Lowe excellent. Sailed past Charlton like they weren't there close man of the match.

Davies dependable.

Bird, great match with a lot of pressure due to Bieliks red.

Knight fantastic.

I'm not getting carried away, but wasn't it nice to see us attacking??

Tonight just showed how badly we need to cut loose all the deadwood dragging our club down . Can anyone imagine Hudd , Lawrence , Martin or Anya putting a shift in like that ? Those 4 must drain well over 100k a week for jack poo ! Come on you young Rams !!!

I agreed until i saw Martin. Are you okay?

Just back in...

Much improved performance with knight absolutely being the stand out performer,he was brilliant

Hard to pin down a bad player tonight, everyone worked their socks off, however waghorn was let down again by his terrible first touch and by missing a great chance on goal.

Marriott pulled their defence around but was pretty ineffectual and was bullied off the ball constantly...he would have benefited from Martin rather than waghorn tonight as he may have had the ball to his feet more often.

Really enjoyed the game,a decent turnout and the supporters got behind the team.

Missed this live following a night out. Just finished watching my Sky recording.   Great result!

Bielik red all the way. No arguments.

Hamer very assured.  Holmes inspired.  My MoTM. Lowe, Davis, Clarke and Wisdom best defensive quartet I've seen from us all season.  Bird really solid.  Marriott and Waghorn worked their socks off.  Yes both missed chances but conversely both got into great positions to receive passes that never came.  Ones I feel Rooney will spot.  And Knight.  The boy has serious talent.  Talent Rooney himself has commented on, stating he reminds him of himself as a youngster. Say no more.

Were Charlton poor? Probably, but they are a good side and IMO we made them look poor through sheer graft.  Closing down the man, closing down the space.  All with 10 men.  Great performance and one I really hope we'll kick on from.  COYR!

There are few things that bring me the kind of pleasure that a Derby win in a drama filled game bring but I have to say that seeing the roy mac 5 spit the dummy sulk reaction to Derby having a good day and even more a good day without messiah Martin is getting up there with it ?,

some very good individual performances but more than that a team working their butts off for each other , nobody strolling or sulking ,

yep not the greatest opposition and there will be tougher tests but it was a very good pressure win when we were up against it

cocu out , Martin for player manager ,,, just a bit of forum porn for the usual suspects ? little tingle roy?

Yep , well past his best , do you think he would have worked as hard as marriott  or waggy . Or put it this way , do you think he is worth 40k a week ?

Yes. What he lacks in pace, he makes up for in intelligence, positional play and lay offs.

Not seen fans in the East Stand applaud the team for so long after the final whistle like they did tonight.

Thought the South Stand was outstanding as well... made a noise throughout.... well done you chaps who stand in there.

Pride Park was on top form tonight.... fans fed off the players, players fed off the fans.... how it should be.... bravo all round. Loved it.

In fairness to Marriott he was being fouled whenever the ball got within 5 yards of him

I’m sorry Roy here...... Waggy was far removed from poor as you say.

Stop the trolling and have a night off on this one

I think the regular posters and readers on here by now know that anyone that plays in the place of The Messiah is on a hiding to nothing, regardless of their actual performance.

Nonsense. Those 4 players can't be put in the same negative type.

True but, 1st half especially, you can’t just stop and expect the free kick. You need to work through it sometimes rather than lose possession.
