That was the most uninspiring, pedestrian, boring first half of football I have seen. Something is seriously wrong at this club. The performances are not in line with a healthy club. Attendances are way down, the fans are quiet (not surprising considering the showing), and the football is dire. No movement, no pattern, no desire. Something is seriously amiss at this club.

Attendance might be down today, but thats because its a rainy mid week game that you can watch on tv. Our average attendance us no different to usual over the season.

It’s so poor it’s unreal ...I’ve noticed tonight when anyone in midfield has the ball everyone dissapears ...instead of giving short options so we go backwards to keep the ball....going to upset a few on here but....Holmes is not a CM and Bielik looks slow ...Roos!  Please how can anyone say he should be our first choice ....nervous punches things he should catch ....we really do look a poor side tonight ...Evans is a better CB than Davies and Clarke I’d go with Evans and Fozzy as CBs

we really do miss Keogh ...so much for Cocu to sort out but starting with our midfield we need creative strong players ....worrying times but I still trust our manager to sort it ...this squad is dire apart from a few

For all those who get a rock in their pants about Huddlestones lack of mobility ... please note that first half .... and Saturday

without him we don’t have a ducking clue how to move the ball accurately.

hes been immobile all his career but the managers that have got the most out of him (at the highest level I hasten to add) are ones that have given him options to hit and energy around him

it’s not not rocket science so why pre injury our genius of a coach and “championship specialist” thought putting Dowell next to him was a good idea I’ll never know

He don't improve things though. He's as bad as any of these lot.

This old chestnut, you are surely clutching at straws. The truth is the players are trying, they are just not very good.

I disagree.

Tell me which player on that pitch has been rubbish throughout their career?

I’ll give you Roos and that’s about it.

Collectively they are but they’ve all been big parts of other teams.

Genuine question

does anyone else question if cocu actually has the dressing room or not ?

usually when u see such lacklustre performances it’s in the final few games of a dead man walking not in the first few months when the players should be chomping at the bit to get into the managers reckoning

if i had 50 quid to wager I’d be plumbing for no

He might not; but I'm not that fussed to be quite frank.

Want the squad freshened up; think the most important players come the end of the season will be in his corner.

The players are absolutely poo on the most part due to poor recrement, and we are trying to play a style of football that doesn't work with players with no vison, technique or flair that is the problem.  Cocu 's style of play will take time to implement with this bunch of mediocre to crap players, this season is a right off so I would like to see some more young players given a chance if that would be possible with their European commitments.
