Millenniumram
Gareth Barry?! duck me hes about 100 years old now isn’t he? Gary Rowetts wet dream that one! He’s even older than Cole when we signed him! Jesus thought he’d jacked it in when he left them first time, surely he ain’t good enough anymore for this level! Leicester Ram
Fingers crossed for Pards, I can always do with more Pards in my life. Easily the funniest option.

O'Naill had so much credit if he wanted a club job he can hang on for better than Stoke and junking NI midway through a campaign. He can probably wait for a team who had a good manager pinched to take on.

Anon
I have to say I feel sorry for O'Neill. He's done tremendous work with Northern Ireland and managed to improve their ranking massively, which in theory should make qualification easier, yet they get drawn in a group with Germany and the Netherlands. Why Stoke though? It has a distinctly Chris Coleman to Sunderland vibe.

JfR
Interesting stat about this: Northern Ireland have won 6 games in 2019 out of 8. Stoke have won 5 league games in 2019 out of 36, 4.5 times as many games.
RadioactiveWaste
I don't think this is going to work out much better than Nathan Jones to be honest. Seems Stoke have a lot of players who think the current situation is beneath them, same as both Rowett and Jones were beneath them. Anyone fancy Tom Ince back?
