Jourdan Posted October 22, 2019 Share Posted October 22, 2019 Warburton is doing an excellent job at QPR, but I think Alex Neil is doing an equally fantastic job at Preston. Perhaps even better when you think of the lack of resources available at Deepdale. I think QPR is a great fit for Warburton. It's the kind of job he needs. One where he can work away quietly and without the pressure or expectation that came in previous jobs like Forest and Rangers. I think it's their tactical flexibility that is serving them well. They can switch systems quite easily - from 3-5-2 to 5-3-2 to 4-4-2 - and still incorporate two strikers. Wells and Hugill is the kind of partnership we hoped we might see between Martin and Marriott. If you can score goals, you'll always be in games and always be in the mix for the top 6.
