Oh good are The Housemartins playing live in the South Stand?

That video is ace. Is there a better voice in ‘pop’ music? Probably not.

Saw Paul Heston and Jacqui Abbot this summer and it was unbelievably brilliant.

Stone Roses are the best (IMO?) but Heaton’s voice is unrivalled.

This is the point of my post around ticket prices. It makes me really angry, sad and embarrassed all at the same time. With the team this year, manager, success etc, there is no way we should not be selling out but because of our greedy mgt fleecing the fans, there will be clear and obvious gaps of seats.

You talk total garbage-greedy mgt fleecing fans,is this the same greedy mgt that set the prices for Southampton that you posted were good prices.Stop being a hypocrite. There won’t be gaps in seats and our attendance will be over 30k so stop talking bull. You sound like Bris reincarnated

16 posts this year, and 13 of them are personal attacks for others expressing an opinion. Interesting.

Yep, Saints tickets great value, £36 minimum, £40 plus booking fee for East Stand, very poor. My opinion doesn't change.

Not sure what the hypocritical aspect is. They're two separate events.

Circa 1600 tickets still left plus two blocks in west upper which say sold out but my suspicion is they don’t want to sell from them. So if true we will be looking at around 30,000. Probably lowest gate in years for this fixture.

You can blame the murderer of football for that “Sky TV”. Monday night for this fixture is sacrilegious in my opinion. I wish the clubs had more power and could say “no duck off this is going to be played on a Saturday at 3PM that’s what our fans want!!!!”  Shame that’ll never happen,  RIP the game I used to love

This fan is very happy the game is on telly on a Monday night.  Respect your opinion, but don’t speak on my behalf or that of all the fans.

I couldnt have gone on Saturday and can now.  I also could watch on tv if I couldnt go tonight.   No complaints from me either.

Totally going off the point but Sky pumping money into football isn't the issue. Its football clubs taking that money and paying bang average footballers anything from £20,000 to 200,000 a week and still charging fans £40+ for a ticket. Eg. All that £150million+ money and  a team like Burnley who were in Europe this year have Ashley Barnes up front... seriously is that progress???

Right...need to take my meds.

The clubs are powerless to do anything due to the deal the FL agreed to. The new deal signed with Sky will result in more games being moved.

I agree as I said it’s a shame the clubs can’t say stick it

Fair enough, Monday night, Sunday dinner, Friday night, Saturday 12:30 isn’t for me anymore. The arm chair brigade are welcome to it

.....that said I’ll be there tomorrow as normal, but last season for me

I’ve paid £40 but this is a game I’d have paid more to watch.

This is not just any game, this is a game that makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up when the teams come out, this is a match where you know you’ll lose your voice come 90 minutes, this is a game where all 4 sides of the stand join in with the atmosphere.

If you haven’t got s ticket, go and get a ticket and don’t regret it Tuesday morning.

We can go 6 points clear of our rivals who so far this season are the closest they’ve been to us in years.

A lot of results have gone our way today and I’d say this is the biggest game we’ve had (not just against Forest) for quite some time and the 12th man will be crucial.

COYR

Well I'm alright Jack too. But back in the real world millions of your countrymen consider breaking even at the end of the month a decent return. It is too much money to take a family along for a casual working class fan and its wrong. Forest or not.

Has the ref been appointed yet for Monday night?

I was thinking that too, can’t find who it’s going to be anywhere, Derby’s website usually mentions the ref but not this game. Was wondering if it might be a premier ref . I had Madley down for it cos he wasn’t involved in our league yesterday but he reffed Cardiff’s game

I am sorry it might be your last season buddy, as l know there is nothing like being at the ground and being a full part of the sound and fury.  I don’t prefer my totally sanitised view from the armchair, but for a number of reasons (work, family time, and money) TV football works for me, and I am sure a great many.  I mourn the loss of going to the Saturday match, just as l occasionally mourn not being young, free and independent.  But tomorrow for 90 odd minutes l know we will both be equally engrossed in a game featuring the mighty Rams, and hopefully will be celebrating come the finish.  COYR!!!

Them 16 posts had 29 likes so nowt personal just my opinion.Perhaps you would get a few more likes if you weren’t critical of how Mel runs our club and ticket pricing, you could highlight all the positive stuff they do to increase attendances with offers,£30 season tickets for youngsters, family deals, etc, etc.Forest is biggest game of season and prices are about right at the end of the day there a business to make money when and where they can.As for your recent posts about dropping Carson and Lawrence if we carried on like that we’d have no team and no team spirit. All players have off games and Stoke no one played well, add in a poor defence, heavy rain pouring down making conditions really bad for Carson and add in his personal circumstances day before to call for him to be dropped is ridiculous. This is an ex international keeper who was player of the season and only last season Derby fans were singing to him England’s number 1.Lawrence you make similar comments marking him down as a 3 in rating.Perhaps be a little more postitive and your likes will go up ?

Interesting point of view, if politics was allowed I'd want to know more about this new socialist standing ?
