No it has not changed apart from Jeff leaving it is roughly the same has when he scored ten in fifteen appearances.

I was talking about within the system Pearson employs. Completely different attitude and system used now than when he scored that many. When he scored 10 in 15 appearences, we were going all out attack, playing fast incisive football with three central midfielders dominating the play. Thats the exact opposite of what's happening now and Bent is poorer for it.

Bent's finished, Ince can go if anyone will pick up his wages, Butterfield couldn't get on and that tells it's own story. Blackman, should probably be given a revolver with a single bullet and locked in a drawing room with a glass of whiskey to do the honourable thing.

Why ? ..............he'll miss

The players wanted Clement out and they got him out, their performance against Hull in the play offs meant that Wassall wasn't going to given another chance either.

Ah yes... The players avoiding a Premiership payday because they didn't like Wassall!

Yet a few people liked it- suggesting there's some people that ACTUALLY blame CHRIS MARTIN for today's performance

Don't let Grant and Hendrick off Scot free either, they were the ringleaders after all.

Pearson, Powell, Idiakez and Phillips.

What have you done to our players that paralyses them on a football pitch?

I have  long suspected they were mentally weak, but boy this is serious.

Olssen weak again. No help to Anya- give Max a go.

Russell awful, Blackman worse than that.

For most of the game we were okay without being threatening. More help in midfield needed. Drop Russell and bring in Johnson or Butterfield.

We'll win on Tuesday.

It exists everywhere, even at the top of the game. The Real Madrid players didn't want to win the champions league because they wanted Mourinho out. These players would be out of the door if we got promoted quicker than you can say Pearson out

Eh??????

We were losing anyway!

We were losing - it's true.

But their second goal came through the middle. Keogh was already passed by the Newcastle attacker, Olsson came too late on Yedlin with his sliding tackle from behind. So their goal was imminent.

If Shackell had stayed in the game, it could've happened differently; most likely Shackell would have been the last man in the defense blocking the way in front of the Yedlin.

Honestly Shackell wasn't really good and at his level today so his departure from the game wasn't unreasonable after all.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Read about Man Utd in 1999, you have players who hated each other but won it all.

Utter nonsense.. and nobody has said Pearson out. They are criticising his tactics and his ability to get a performance out of a playoff team.

Mate you've reached new levels today.  This stuff is bizarre.

I hope Pearson gets it right,  but we've gone backwards and we're entitled to say so.

Ah yes... The "all the players fault and not Pearson's" routine.

Perhaps you should enlighten us all, as what you believe  Pearson should do ?

Easy to say "tactics" over and over and over again.

A precise answer would be nice.

Could it be that the standard in the Championship has been rising year on year , and Derby are still stuck in the Derby Way of 2/3 seasons ago ?

Collective fault , not individual

The issue here is the midfield are not functioning because in a 4-4-2 you need a destroyer in the mold of George Williams, Seth Johnson or Robin van de laan and the only one we have fit at present is Bradley Johnson who is not in the team. Bryson and Hughes require a defensive midfielder behind them to work properly but this means going away from the 4-4-2 formation. After seeing Anya I think the diamond formation would best suit these players with Vydra and Wieman up front.

Just back, fairly disappointed as the scorelines suggests, we didn't create much at all, yes a bit more effort but we seem to be hoping the ball drops for us,

Carson - remains an average keeper with poor distribution

christie - did OK today

keogh - we would be in trouble without him

shackell - does his defending well but his distribution is slow and dreadful

olson - did OK but will get done at the far post at set pieces all day long

hughes - did his best of the season so far but we are lacking in midfield

bryson - all over the pitch but we want him hitting that penalty area

russell - in the side because he try's harder than Ince but a jeckel land hide performance

anya - buzzing around a lot and you could tell he has played full back a lot lately

Vydra- hardly saw the ball just like martin

wilson - it was he that lost his man easily for their goal

subs- probably the most expensive bench we have ever had which tells a big story
