Wassall has no pressure on him other than to settle things down. Next season, we try again. Who would want the Derby job until the end of the season? I think this is was done out of opportunity. Steves sacking was because they had the opportunity to grab Clement, especially since there was a fans forum a few days it happened and Sam Rush told everyone how great Steve was. There must be someone else in the pipe line, I refuse to believe we'd be so reckless to do this, especially since everything seems to be considered. I was at the game at Fulham and did notice Clement pretty much in his seat all game whereas he is usually very animated. The rumours of Moyes at the game... I don't think his style of play is too dissimilar to Clements, Everton fans were constantly moaning about his negativity and hoofball tactics. I do know that Wassall is less likely to get us up than Clement was, and we may well lose a fine academy manager if he gets upset if he is overlooked for the full time job. Can we get Rowett in now?
