I believe it’s about a lot more than this.
“Playing for pride” is sometimes overused as a saying, but this perfectly describes things for us now.
“play for the badge on the front and we’ll remember the name on the back…” again another cliche but so, so appropriate.
In a way points are secondary to all this now. As are owners, coaches, media and the rest.
‘SUPER Derby SUPER RAMS!’
No, this is wrong, playing for pride is when you are already relegated but have games left, we still have a chance of staying up.

Should still go, absolutely, to cheer on the lads. Same as I’m still paying the Rams TV sub. I’m still supporting the team, but we are going down.
It’s like being in the Premier League for somebody like Southampton. They know they’re not going to ever win the PL, but fans still go regardless.
I’m looking forward to us smashing League One next season.
Someone should have told Leicester they couldn’t win the Premier league. In fact they probably did, was that you.

Our 2016/17 side would have gone down with a 21 point deduction. And that team had players like Will Hughes, Tom Ince, Matej Vydra, Craig Bryson, Jonny Russell and David Nugent in it. That side won 18 games that season, won more than they lost and had a positive GD.
Our current side has won just four games in 19. Lost more than they’ve won. Has a negative GD and is primarily made up of kids, old players and freebies.
We were down with -12 points. Now we’re just fighting to end up with a respectable points tally. Anything over 30 from this point on would be a decent achievement.
Wish you’d said this before, it would have saved me all that travelling yesterday.

It will take more than that to sort out my pain not helped by having to stand all the time throughout the game but worth it to support the team in their hour of need. Ready for Monday and then on to Brizzle.

I would be a bit more confident if they left Mitrovic at home.?

Not going tonight, but my last trips to Craven Cottage involved some drinks in the Eight Bells and The Temperance - both of which are right near Putney Bridge Station. Bars around there are pretty away friendly to be honest.
In the eight bells now, away fans only.

Just short of ten grand now, if anyone feels they can help it would be nice to reach that milestone.

I'm stopping at home for this one. At least Rams TV gets my tenner, far better than that red button apology for coverage on Sky.
Spare a thought for us standing in the cold , cos you just know the wind will be blowing in off the Thames.

A cracking post SEAO.
Television...luxury, We had a scruffy book with figuers in the corner that you flicked and they moved, Were beaten half to death before tea time, Lived in a hole in the road, My Dad worked 25 hours a day for nowt, Mother would boil old shoes so we could eat, And all wore hand me down cloths, Trouble was I had 11 sisters, Wearing dresses for years wasn't fun.
We got all our clothes from the army and navy stores, it was no fun going to school dressed as Japanese sniper.?

After a fantastic performance against the 2nd best team in the league, can we play without fear again and replicate the win in the big smoke against Fulham?
Pray for no daft goal kicks and Mitrovic leaving his boots at home.
I would be a bit more confident if they left Mitrovic at home.?

I can only go back as far as the early Brian Clough years and my dad was never interested in football but now my son and grandson come to the games with me, so long after I’ve gone maybe he will be talking about grandad saw Derby when they were champions of England twice.

Do you think that there is likely to be tickets on the day, to buy at Fulham?
....
In the past, I could always get a ticket in the neutral area at Fulham if I was too late - but they have emailed me to tell me that they don't have it anymore ?
When tickets went off sale online on Friday they basically sold out half the allocation of 1600+ presumably leaving about 800 to sell in the ticket office . These go off sale at 4 o’clock tomorrow presumably leaving the remainder to sell at Fulham on the day. How many that will be is anybody’s guess but being a midweek game at £35 a ticket I’d be surprised if its a sell out.

I can't stand Mel Morris, honestly think putting us into administration when he didn't need to is sickening - especially from a so-called fan of the club.
I could not care less about his CBE - as long as I don't ever hear from him or see him again then I will be better for it.
Really you’ve not mentioned it before.

At over four and a half thousand now, I’m sure we can do this easily.
