I've decided to lead a fan owned buyout myself.
I'm going to start a company - A Daley Investments (ADI), and I'd like you all to buy shares. Naturally, I'll retain 5%, but when enough people have invested, I'll use ADI as the holding company to buy the club. Then you'll all be share holders in Derby County's holding company.
In the meantime, I'll keep all your cash safe. I'm sure you'll understand if I invest it in interest bearing accounts in the meantime. After all, I've got a living to make.
Don't worry, your cash is safe with me. If we don't raise enough, or lose out to another bidder, I'll refund everyone within 18 months, subject to a small administration charge.
I think you'll all agree, it's a win, win situation. If we buy the club, the shares I bought for £1 are worth about £5m and I've pocketed a decent amount in interest. If we don't buy the club, I still get the interest and keep 10% of everyone's original investment as an administration fee.
Actually, maybe it's a bit transparent doing it with shares. Probably better to do it with block chain.
Who's with me?
Where do I sign

Nope. They appointed Paul Jewell who proceeded to bring in journeymen on ridiculous wages in a move that set us back 3 or 4 years, a mess that was cleared up by NC.
Interested to know your source on Rooneys wages.
I think the bit where he wrote according to Peter Marples might be a clue.

I hope Christmas is the best it can be for all of you in your different circumstances. I know it can be a tough time for some but if you have family, give them an extra hug and remember the important things in life are free.
Oh, and go and support the greatest team on earth!
Nah, I’ll stick with Derby, Merry Christmas ?

Nearly cost me a flight back from Amsterdam. Logged on, gave all the details but the e-mail "with the attachment" kept arriving without the attachment. Total IT horlicks...finally got it after about 8 attempts and just 15 minutes before the gate closed. Can you imagine getting stuck in Amsterdam for a weekend with nothing to do ?
I can imagine, but I think that’s all I’m allowed to do ?

Real risk we will go under due to this.
I don’t think it will cost us too much not taking fans to Cardiff and Swansea

I'm happy with whoever prevents us from getting liquidated and has enough about them to stabilise us.
Would be great to get back into the Championship first time of asking because as we know from Sunderland, Ipswich etc you can be down there a long time, however I'd trade being stuck in league one for survival
It would be even better if we just stayed in the championship .

Four defeats on the trot, should have been sacked and replaced by that young upcoming Tommy Docherty.

More expensive than Babbo's and the Standing Order then?
Disgusting ?
Yes but the Christmas market charge that for one pint and that’s to sit outside.

Cardiff’s a good weekend away and at Christmas you should still have a good time.
She who must be obeyed says she’d like to go, so it looks like we’re going, Christmas market is supposed to be nice and the light show in Bute park is in front of our hotel if they are not cancelled, so we’ll just make the most of it, not football though is it?

Perhaps they care more about the teams involved in the other four games that have been postponed (so far) and even they realised it would be seen as picking on us.
Also, it says "Covid-19 cases within both clubs squads". Perhaps we could both forfeit the three points to each other. ?

Mmm, we can't get a refund on our hotel and meal, so it looks like a quiet overnighter in Monmouth for us!
I have three nights in Cardiff booked, if I cancel I lose one night as deposit. I don’t know whether to lose the deposit and not go or just take the three day break. My wife wants to go but she’s not driving or paying and presumably the game will be played at some point so we will have to come down again. It’s not easy being a superfan ?

For a normal kick off time the walkabout is usually quite lively but I’ve checked and it’s not open till twelve but would be ok Friday night.
Close by are two Wetherspoons the prince of Wales and the great western just below the millennium stadium which open at seven and eight O’clock respectively which should be early enough for most people ?.From there it’s about a thirty walk to the ground.

I haven’t got one of those, but presumably it would be just as safe tucked in my wife’s Peach purse?
As long as she doesn’t mind showing it to the steward

Should be a decent turnout today, less than 7000 tickets left, only 19 in the south stand.
