We've got stopped from taking them into West Stand - both over 65 but obviously look a bit dodgy.... ?
Yet we can take a flask in.
I know which one would hurt more if I decided to fling it in the direction of the fourth official. ?♀️
Please don’t take this the wrong way. But those guys on the gates have a lot of discretion. I’m sure that before letting you in he asked himself: “hmmm, well how far do I reckon she could chuck that flask?”

3643 tickets remain for tomorrow's game. Barnsley will have roughly 1500 fans - I'd anticipate an attendance of between 27-28k for tomorrow. Shame they aren't bringing more TBH!
Another good turnout!
We are a sleeping giant of the English football league
But sadly we have slept so long that we’ve all got fatigue

Southgate is over cautious and needs to concentrate on the football rather than attempting to teach the country moral standards from his position in a sport which has no moral standards or sportsmanship whatsoever.
Yeah he’s a bit of a vicar and his sermons are too long

We haven’t won the World Cup maybe because we haven’t been good enough? Left behind technically ??♂️
Few reasons I guess. It’s no coincidence that our women (technically inferior to France and Germany maybe Sweden too) have the best coach and win. (Looking forward to seeing Southgate out-witted once again in December )

NML or Barkhuizen arent pacy?
It’s pretty clear already that NML has a grant from the physics department at the University of Birmingham, for the purpose of teaching Heisenberg’s theorem to each and every left back in Div 1 (by demonstrating that if they know where he is they haven’t a clue how fast he is going; and that if they know how fast he is going they have absolutely no idea where he is, where he’s been or where he is going)

Not looked at their forum but the baggies fans must be thinking, why couldn’t it have been Morecambe ?

Can’t believe the South Stand haven’t made this our new anthem yet! Original lyrics:Isn't it rich?
Are we a pair?
Me here at last on the ground,
You in mid-air,
Where are the clowns?Send in the Clowes…
Amended to:
Isn't he rich?
Are we a pair?
Me here at last on the ground*
You in mid-air,**
Where are the Clowes,Send in the Clowes….
* ie Pride Park
** He’s a pilot
The tune: see YouTube link.
Come on South Stand. Bellow it out ?
Totally with you mate but the tessitura is very tricky. Spans more than an octave. Judy Dench ended up speaking it. Are you sure the South Stand are up to it ?

Thanks for a morning chuckle. It's not often I laugh out loud in the coffee shop. ?
Quite a lot of it is true. What I omitted was that in all the excitement leaving his flat the silly fool forgot his hat so by the end of the day he had really bad sunburn

Sibley has come off the bench twice and had an impact plus he's played well in the game yesterday so I'd imagine he's earnt a start.
There’s a chance sibley will really benefit from our relegation. A season at a slightly slower pace, he might really come on so he can shine at a higher level. (My son said wryly when he scored that hat trick - that might be the worse thing that ever happens to him ... )

There's a photo of Rooney in action last might in which his shirt is torn. I cannot imagine that they're having to sew it before the next game
He could ask aunty Colleen to do it

Really not looking forward to these temperatures on Saturday. Was grim enough last home game.
went to the cricket last time it was really hot. My mate soaked his y fronts in water, put them in the freezer overnight, then put them on under his shorts before we left for the game. Tip he got from women’s hour but the water was his idea. He said at first they were rigid so a bit scratchy - he blamed his shoes but he was walking oddly plus he said his willy was numb. Then they quickly got soggy. He claimed it was a brilliant idea but as they melted if looked from the front like he’d peed himself, worse from the back and at one stage it looked like the security guys on the gate weren’t going to let him in . He’s still walking pretty strangely and has some sort of fungal rash.
Anyway you could give that a go ?- hydraulic ram, ck-, ColonelBlimp and 16 others

It's a winnable game against championship opposition.
West Brom see us as their bogey team. They looked very good against Watford on Monday. Almost lost but clearly the stronger side. And they have depth. But at home we’d have a good chance. Hope the Blades beat them though, and then beat Boro on Sunday.

Rooney - What a debut, a serious serious talent who could be as good as Bielik. Possibly better.

I've got a feeling Dobbin is going to be our Mason Mount of 4 years ago
Thought he looked pretty lively when he came on against Charlton. More a trusty steed though than a mason mount

I'd only go with one defensive midfielder. This team, but it could have Barks instead of Mendez-Laing. But our main players need the confidence that comes from creating chances and scoring goals, so we should field a strong attacking lineup while giving some of the defence a break.
Loach
Oduroh Stearman Cashin Forsyth
Thompson
Knight Sibley
Mendez-Laing Collins Dobbin
Would be interesting to give that back 4 an outing and I don’t think Nigel would mind. Cashin would miss Curtis. The route A outlet last season to Fozzy pushing forward was productive when faced with a press and perhaps Dobbin and Collins could capitalise. I would rest NML. Brave to go without Bird but he might be needed if a transfer is close for JK.
I think we might see something like you suggest at the start. But that we’ll finish more as we did on Saturday.
don’t think we’ll learn much from this but if Collins bags a brace that’s a big bonus- Carl Sagan and jimtastic56

Clough will want a win too, so no doubt they will be drilled for it.
I do fancy Dobbin and Sibley to both start so there will be plenty of ability in our side that have something to prove. Collins likely will have to start too - he's another one who won't be taking it easy.
It will definitely be a competitive game, unfortunately apart from those going, it looks like it's impossible to watch the game!
Reckon this is the game where dobbin will get the bit between his teeth

I think he'll likely be gone in the next 3 weeks but definitely gone if we tell him he's a full back for the season.
That he’s at right back right now makes sense - he’s on the market and LR probably wants to get the midfield working with players who are staying around.
If we get a half decent price for JK his fee should fund 3 or 4 new players for the season. if we don’t sell I guess where he plays will depend on who else comes in - we know he gives 100% wherever he’s played
