From my experience, due to waning immunity of the vaccine, the vaccinated are just as easily spreading it amongst themselves now. So I don’t believe there will be a noticeable drop just from taking a very small number of unvaccinated people out of the cycle.
We will see

Will be interesting to see the reaction when the unvaccinated have been outcast for 2 weeks and their cases numbers haven’t dropped. Who will they blame then?
And if the numbers do drop ?

I thought we were denied access to the Covid money because we hadn't applied for it within the allocated time frame?
DCFC didn’t apply because it was made clear we wouldn’t meet the criteria made by the EFL to get one.

I say the same about womens rugby as I do about women's football - it's OK to watch if nothing else is on. But the quality is many levels below what I would pay to see and the Beeb keep trying to convince us that sub-standard quality in a national / club jersey is good value (because they can't compete to buy the men's game) is what I find a little off.
When BBC1 and 2 have their Sunday afternoon filled with, without any gender bias at all, low quality sport then I question, not at the people playing but at those in media trying to pretend this is somehow better than it is.
Now, if you have an interest in women's rugby then great, it was a fantastic performance and the Red Roses should be proud but it wasn't a Sunday main channel experience and it wasn't headline news, even if the Beeb thought it was.
I’d rather the beeb spend money in this or some other home grown sport than spend money on the NFL , a rich foreign sport. That should be left to the commercial channels .

Binnie brothers i think someone mentioned, plus an Eastern European Businessman. Maybe it's Putin, the EFL would soon reduce that 21 point penalty.
He would threaten to cut off the gas supply to Parry’s house

And winning the Premier league title, FA Cup, qualifying for Champions league, building a £100M training ground, paying ALL of their staff during the lockdown including part-time staff and getting them to work in the community. Preparing plans for a major increase in capacity. Attracting top signings and being able to move players on for significant fees. I think they are doing OK. ?
what a lovely club

Taking the observation back one step why did we have to sell our ground at all?

Agreed. People need to vent, let them.
Morris has got off incredibly lightly. Maxwell and the Amigo’s got pelters, yet Morris has been a million miles worse than them. Can’t stand the bloke. Ruined this club. Deserves all the criticism. It’s a shame we can’t do it to his face at the ground.
Won’t agree with you re Maxwell or the Amigos. One robbed a pension fund and the others were crooks. Mel hasn’t been great but let’s be real

how is that an allegation?
it is my view of the situation.
how about this, they actually tell us how they intend to find a buyer for the club? I know, it is a radical idea and a lot to ask for.
this is the future of Derby county in the hands of somebody that is clearly prepared to gamble.
You need to read back on some of the stuff you have written. Accusations of lying you haven’t backed up and accusing buyers of being con men. I can understand you being upset but you really need to take a chill pill for a bit

We don't know that. Legal advice may have been that there is no chance of winning the argument.
Or that the EFL planned to drag things out until The money ran out

we need facts and a plan from the administrators.
The way they approached it so far appears to be lets pretend everything is under control and we are staying up until we find a buyer, but this has basically poo poo'd that plan.
Think you need to chill out with your accusations against the administrators.

Well either the Athletic is wrong or Percy is.
I’m hoping the latter. No doubt will find out by the end of the week -

what have they said that has been the truth?
the only time they have spoken they have said a bunch of stuff people want to hear, not the reality of the situation.
I am seriously worried, we will either end up with a complete crook as our owner or worse go out of business.
what have they done so far to make us more appealing to a buyer?
No list then ?
-
Wonder if we went legal this would have dragged on for months and one or more of the bidders said just get it done to move on and stop EFL continually stalling things ? Plus if it went on too long Admin would run out of dosh. Check mate from EFL without having to prove what they have done is correct or not ?

According to Google the brewery closed in 1966 (or 65 depending on who you read) but the name continues as Offilers Best Bitter is brewed, apparently, in Burton by Worthingtons
One of the local breweries had the recipe for one of the Offilers brews a couple of years back , had a pint or two in the Smithfield . Very pleasant it was as well

hopefully the waste of time appealing in the first place hasn't cost us much money. Money that could have gone towards saving jobs.
My understanding is that the money has been provided by one of the interested parties and not via “club” funds

No surprise after there run of results, never rated Smith as a manager.
Went up and scraped staying up on the back of Grealish imo. If Grealish had been out for a couple of weeks more in 2019 they wouldn’t have made the play offs

What a concise and accurate critique Crewton. I have bought all the books about Derby County and Armed With A Football is one of my favourites. It is serious, sad and in parts sentimental and funny but a great story. Andrew Ward co-authored The Derby County Story with Anton Rippon. He did the same with John Williams in putting together Football Nation - Sixty Years of the Beautiful Game, which is also highly recommended. He should have written more. I wish he had written one on Tim's career as a football manager.
I worked with Tim in his later years , he had many stories to tell and what a gentleman he was.
Don't know how to title this, appalling.

I think a lot of the problem is not the shortage of accommodation it’s a shortage of the care needed especially for those with mental health problems left behind by the underfunded “care in the community “ .
