No record of him ever taking a penalty for the Rams
Might not be any records but i do recall him taking some ( not that we won many between 1978-86 when he played ). Might be my oldtimers kicking in though. Would not be in my best list even so.

"as confident as ever" not "more confident than ever"
Big difference.
First signing is the new tea lady, old one retired and needed replacing.
If she is old and retired maybe Wayne is looking after her ?

Dean Saunders and Gerry Daly
I remember Niall Quinn saving a Deano penalty at Maine Road ?

Watching since 1970 we have had a few good ones , Gladys , Bruce , Charlie , Gerry Daly even an honourable mention for Mark Pembridge but the best and never missed for the Rams was Ron Willems . Top corner either right or left right in the diagonal every time. Never thought he would miss

It goes against the spirit of FFP, but you’re right, we’re in no position to be judgemental.
Clubs will always be looking for creative ways to circumvent FFP and this could be the new norm where Prem clubs delay payments to ensure they get a decent fee for their player.
We now know from first hand experience, if you get too creative, use all your aces up the sleeve it can come back to bite you on the backside.
Fulham will go up, we won’t be competing at the same end of the table as them so it is what it is.
What amazes me is Forest appear to have gone under the radar, they are over there enjoying our “downfall”, fair play to them, we’d do the same, but they have an owner with 2 clubs selling players between them both.
How that hasn’t triggered an investigation in the same way a stadium sale has I’ll never know, well I do. Steve Gibson and Karen Maguire, upset those to and they EFL will be banging on the door.
So much stinks in football, find myself applauding these new creative ways if anything now, just shows how fit fit purpose they are.
Also where the funds for Forest come from , if the articles by David Conn are correct and Marinikas gets convicted for his alleged misdemeanours the Red Dogs could be in serious trouble.
Quite how he passed the EFL fit and proper test is amazing and how the Trees fans don’t seem to care is just as bad -

Delayed start. Checked the live stream, it's chucking it down. No rain up near Belper yet, giving me some false optimism ?

I’ve never really sussed out what Dal does apart from field. Rarely bats or bowls and doesn’t seem to do much when he does or am I being harsh ?

That’s fine, it was aimed at people like myself who want to enjoy this without it being mutually exclusive to 20/20.
It’s possible to enjoy this as it’s own entity and just leave the t20 stuff alone. English Cricket on TV for another 20 odd days - what’s not to like. (Weather permitting!)
It has no connection to current teams unless you live local to one of the test ground franchises. Like Rammieib I support Derbyshire not a made up team for Notts etc
Designed to try and undermine the less “fashionable “ counties IMOThat’s why I don’t like it.

17 year old academy batsman Mitch Wagstaff has been given a first team contract and is in the squad for tomorrow's game against Glamorgan.
Definitely worth seeing what he can do.
Remember Mitch as a babe in his Dad’s arms when Ant was at Mickleover CC . Makes me feel old ?

After a hard day at work Fred used to come home and say to Rose I could murder some Tennant's.
Apparently he blamed it all on a bad load of topsoil from Lockerbie

I wonder if there's any chance we could get Liam Delap back, on loan?
Off to a German club on loan apparently

I would have thought that the red dogs would be more concerned about how their club is allegedly being funded and the consequences of that when the law finally catches up .

Jack Wilshire would want more money than we can pay and is only good for about 5-10 games per season because he is made out of wet paper bags held together with pritt stick glue.
Avoid at all costs, he'd be a total waste of money.
Made 14 appearances for FFP cheats Bornmuff from Jan 21. Was apparently fit for most of his time at Wet Spam but not picked ( according to Jack ).
Hammers fans gave him the name Jack Wheelchair.
What money free agents want and what they get is sometimes very different hence Tom H having no club ( or wages ) last season.
Talented player but any deal you would think would have to be appearance based if there is any substance to this ? -

After years of work and research here it is !
The Derby County shirt worn in the inaugural season of 1884 by the pioneers of our club, Cambridge Blue, Amber and Chocolate Brown the first colours of the Rams, it was thought that the early colours were blue but it was a shade of blue called Cambridge Blue which is actually more of a green. The badge was the badge of the Derbyshire FA that a player was permitted to wear if they had been selected to represent the Derbyshire FA.we have had two made by a local tailor after we sourced the correct colours and the materials, the embroidery was done separately, even down to mother of Pearl buttons, it is to add further integrity to the book but moreover to show where the club evolved from, the team that wore these colours set the precedent for all those that have followed, the shirts will be on display at our Rams Heritage roadshows later in the year.
brought to life after 137 years by Phil Lowe & Jason Shardlow.
Might get one with Goodall on the back ?

And going into Admin , not paying for the stadium and local businesses ( still ) plus cheating FFP to go up. Apart from that ?

What’s so funny about serious Heath problems @1967RAMS?

He must believe a takeover is in the offing. I suspect he will leave when the transfer window closes if no money becomes available. Either by way of a takeover or Morris stumping up more cash. Can’t see the first happening and Morris is unlikely to have the decency to help us out of the mess he is solely responsible for. Just hope he doesn’t come to the stadium when matches are on. I expect the atmosphere will be toxic and he gets the reception he deserves

Especially after what they did to us with Antonio we bid more than other clubs and they rejected and then sold him to West Ham for less than we bid. You don’t sell to local rivals. Keep him on and then in the season when hopefully a takeover is sorted negotiate a new contract. We’ve got a year to get it done and him sign. You’ve got the likes of West Ham and Arsenal looking at him. Guarantee he will go there and be sold for 15 million in a year or two
There has been a lot of trading of players ( and managers ) between us and the dark side over the years its only been in recent times that fans have got upset about this. However i doubt Buchanan would be bothered with a at best sideways move when Prem clubs as you say have expressed an interest. Be better for him to sit and wait.
Best penalty taker you've ever seen (for the rams that is)
