That’s a strong attitude. We’ve actually got half a chance of winning it for once, if the stars align, and maybe they take some inspiration from the ladies.
have you become that disenfranchised by England, or is that just a boycott of Qatar?
I do actually find the whole Qatar thing quite distasteful, but no more so than I found Russia, and I ended up watching that.
It’ll be fairly ironic if the USA ends up a complete cluster in 4 years time, with trump back in charge. How hard is it to pick a country that’s not totally devoid of morals and integrity. Oh yeah, that’s kind of impossible when it goes to whoever has the fattest brown envelope.
despite all that, I’ll still end up supporting England, and if I had the means, I’d love to go and experience a World Cup.
I’ve never been particularly interested in International football unless there is a Rams interest. However I do have strong ethics and the number of deaths of workers who were “ employed “ in slave like conditions makes this World Cup a massive no from me.
just my opinion others have different ones.- LeedsCityRam and I know nothing

Not interested in this in the slightest. Too many people killed in the building of the stadia , many workers treated as slaves . Won’t even watch it on tv.

Is anyone planning to go this winter?
Now the Lionesses have shown the way, maybe the Lions can emulate their achievement.
Thought it’d be worth having a thread to discuss travel plans. But also, an opportunity for a cheap plug:
My wife is a travel concierge and she’s just had a whole bunch of special exclusive World Cup offers released to her. DM me for more information, or you can contact her directly through her Facebook page:
Nope no interest whatsoever in this from me. Won’t even watch it on TV.

Also said West Ham offered 127k per week and a million signing on fee.
Chose Forest at 80k per week.
Now that could be true, however I'm sure there must be some easily achievable and hefty bonuses for appearances, assists, goals, staying up in there that makes it more lucrative than the West Ham deal.
In a straight up West Ham or Forest choice, West Ham would be the preferred destination at this current time, that's not rivalry talking here and if Forest fans were being honest, they would agree.
Maybe "special deliveries " from Marinkas's boat

Very very rare I bet, Altho I spunked £100 on the Dogs being relegated ?, I don't understand betting odds, Or play the machines, So my question is this.
How would the above work, What would stop the person moving onto the next bet or terminal, Walk down most high streets in the UK and the betting shops are as many as fast food outlets
Hope that is one bet you win gig on ??

Thanks for the help all, will be getting quotes from DGS Windows, Trade Windows Derby & Derby Double Glazing... will go with the best price, though if it's close I'll probably go with the one who DOESN'T give it the big sales pitch rollocks.
Tell them that before they start. Say you are getting quotes ask for there best quote first time and say you won’t entertain the old I’ll have to give my manager a call trick.

Anyone remember Micheal Johnson from Man City? Highly rated youngster, playing in the senior team, then lost interest and struggled with his mental health
Wouldn't surprise me if this is a similar one
Anyway, from our side, I suspect we've paid up part of his remaining contract and we all move on
Think he scored his only league goal against us. Weighed about 20 stone last time I saw a pic of him

If I'm reading this correctly, Birmingham can't be sold because the EFL don't really know who currently owns Birmingham
How do they know that they could pay for Bielik wages and loan fee ??

Well he has to pass a medical at Birmingham yet !
Extremely sad to be going to a club like Birmingham !
we need his wages off our payroll to make other things happenwe still owe Arsenal £5 million apparently!
Can we sell him in January if he has a great World Cup?
Not sure how Brum can afford the loan fee and wages when apparently they don't have a pot to piss in and the pot they did have was full of holes. If he goes there i think he would be back after the first payment was due , seems a strange one this.
