All this super fan stuff has become rather tiresome. Seems it's not enough for some to be congratulated for creating a great atmosphere at games and rightly so. The postulating on the demeanour and loyalty of those who can't and haven't made games recently has worn thin now.
I'd imagine there are those who have passed, either by Covid or other natural causes and have not yet been replaced by the next generation. I'd wager being better at cheering than a dead person might not be something to crow about. We might consider this and other threads may also be unpleasant reading for their loved ones.
Many will have found themselves financially stretched, others may have voted with their feet and simply not renewed this year as Mel was still in tenure. Whatever the reasons, I don't believe it's fair to second-guess them, nor to suppose they are the only fans who have ever moaned at matches. That's patently nonsense.
I won’t be attending due to being in Derby Royal with appendicitis.
In the 1970’s/80’s I would have been stood in the Popside in my surgical gown holding my drip stand but I’m a bit wimpier these days ?- Kathcairns, RoyMac5, Comrade 86 and 2 others

Our 2016/17 side would have gone down with a 21 point deduction. And that team had players like Will Hughes, Tom Ince, Matej Vydra, Craig Bryson, Jonny Russell and David Nugent in it. That side won 18 games that season, won more than they lost and had a positive GD.
Our current side has won just four games in 19. Lost more than they’ve won. Has a negative GD and is primarily made up of kids, old players and freebies.
We were down with -12 points. Now we’re just fighting to end up with a respectable points tally. Anything over 30 from this point on would be a decent achievement.

If somehow we can beg or borrow two goal scorers in January we could be a different proposition - extremely difficult to do that but Rooney could persuade some of his mates to help us out - you never know

Looks like Derby fans and well wishers will settle this debt very soon which is great news .
Meanwhile the amount owed to the SJA by the lovely LCFC from their admin remains unpaid still I understand , despite them having rich “fantastic” owners.
Be glad to be corrected if it has been settled . -

I'm assuming the other interested parties are (i) Andy Appleby's group and (ii) the "Binnie Brothers" (Carlisle Capital).
Not heard of any others confirming interest.
Apparently an Eastern European bidder in the back ground but no details of who.

owner Steve Gibson’s claim for around £45m is still to be addressed.
They feel Derby’s financial irregularities helped deny them a play-off place in 2019 after the Rams pipped them to the top six by just one point.
Should recoup that easily when we sue QPR and Villa. Villa broke the rules in 2019 is he suing them ?

Think he's applied for the Derby job a couple of times in past from previous interviews. If Rooney leaves I'd like him in, absolute legend and a top bloke.
Great player but his management record leaves a lot to be desired so that would be a no from me

This make me unbelievably angry. What kind of reporting is this? 'Poorly timed tweet', 'grilled by fans' 'brag about'
what the actual f. How anyone at this poor excuse for a news outlet gets paid is beyond me. I wonder if Nicholson is embarrassed at how awful the click bait nonsense that comes from the telegraph is?
Whether Kirchner does or does not buy the club... no one knows yet, I'm hopeful he does so we still have a club. But why bother with this utter nonsense that frankly if I were him and reading it, i'd be pissed off at.
"His tweet was not about the situation with Derby, but rather to brag about spending a week at golf events in Dubai with "partners" including luxury watch brand Rolex."
First thing as a new owner, I'd closing all lines of communication with this awful excuse of paper.
A reason why I am not on Twitter , just what makes people put such nonsense on line. If I was CK I might just think stuff it. Hopefully he and other bidders won’t

Obviously not , a new poster giving it the bigun with only your opinion that you “know” more than most with no actual credentials to back it up.
I leave it there. -
