Wonder why it’s Liam talking to the media and not Rooney.
He has done it a few times in the past. Nothing unusual I think

Barnsley lost again, while Hull got beat at home to Peterborough.
Blackpool came from two down to beat Reading. Stats suggest it was fully deserved too. Blackpool look solid this season, have goals in them and I reckon they're a tough team to play away.
Cardiff will improve once they dump the dinosaur McCarthy.
It's got to be Peterborough, Hull and Barnsley. Who else can we drag into it? Birmingham have been poor since they beat us, but they should be ok. Bristol City and Preston are crap but keep picking up wins.
Since the deduction we've gained two points on Peterborough and Hull and four on Barnsley. We've only had three wins ourselves in 13 games. It's not looking great despite our solid form.
If we can get above those three which is very possible we don’t need to drag anyone else in though it would be nice

I know allsop was at fault but no more than Lawrence with the cross for ckr about 5 minutes earlier
it’s always the keepers that get the blame
The same Lawrence who scored ?

Newcastle asking fans not to dress up in headdress and robes as it not culturally appropriate , but not bothered about murdering and chopping up journalists seemingly

Just think the debts are formidable and taking them on will be difficult for any prospective buyer.
Mike Ashley apart I don’t see any other major asset bidders

Ashley hasn’t bid according to admin last week. The American bid has supposedly big money backing , not sure about the 6/7 others as we don’t know who they are

Its really disappointing.
We could literally be watching Derby County FC play for the last time in the next couple of months and we are struggling to half fill the ground, yet when times were good we managed to sell 35 or 40 thousand in hours.
I think for those of us who have often said we deserve to be in the top flight because we are a big club with a loyal fanbase, this is a bit of an eye opener.
Strange times , first match for me and my lad in over a year due to illness and shielding. I know a couple of other lads who have been going for as long as me (since 1970) and they are still unsure about being in crowds. Hopefully continued good form and a few wins will start to temp folk back

I’d love to know what an investor looks like, maybe they were wearing t shirts.
You had better ask Radio Derby as they reported it. Probably the group with Stephen Pearce . Glad to see you are still posting your usual positive stuff

Just sat in the Yard, saw a load of investors walking around and heard one say 12 points reduced to 6, then 4 points for ffp.
No idea what they were on about mind?
If that was true I’d accept that now. Reckon we would stay up. Hoping that we finally get some luck and the independent panel on our side

Matt Critchley getting accolades all over the place. Think the only team of the year he's not in, is the BBC one votes by fans...because fans are stupid.
Named as one of the 5 county cricketers of the year.....
He's not playing for us next year is he? ?
Can’t understand why Critchley hasn’t been picked for the England Lions squad ?

Unfortunately, it was the other championship clubs who voted him on to the board, 19 of them, I believe. We get the EFL, we deserve, if that's the case. I can't believe that someone with his history could still be so popular with the other clubs.
He bought them all fish tanks

I think you're confusing O'Farrell with his predecessor, Wilf McGuiness. He suffered from alopecia through the stress caused in trying to follow Busby at United. He was a Busby Babe, alongside Bobby Charlton but his career ended at a young age and he became the youth coach. Stepping into Busby's shoes was several steps too far and it broke him health wise.
Haha I see you relaised that for yourself just as I posted this. Well done.
Yes think they sacked McGuinness after the 4-4 Boxing Day game at the BBG. Les Greens nightmare match

LeedCityRam I hadn't remembered Roy Mac saying that but he was spot on I'm wondering now if that was the catalyst for Willie Morgan's later tantrum. Wait until you come to do the home game against Manchester City in December. That's when Malcolm Allison and Cloughie really upped the ante in the post match press conference. It was national headlines and coincided with United going into decline. It really got under Frank O'Farrell's skin.

We have extremely limited options up front so they are looking at scraps and in all reality we need one of the premiership clubs to actually turn round and say we can basically have one of their underused centre forwards for next to nothing in January just like the kind of deals Reading FC had of Chelsea in the summer - there are players out there at those clubs so Rooney and his connections could prove to be extremely important.
Actually there are some sat doing nothing in the championship - the lad £20 million pound Brewster at Sheffield United would be more than useful for us in January and if we got him scoring goals and it would ultimately be good for Sheffield United as well
I’ve not seen anything from Brewster for Sheff Utd or England U21 that would improve us. Just looks disinterested every time I’ve seen him play. Think I’d rather stick with Stretton than Brewster

1. No they shouldn't. Don't believe the hype.
2. As we'll see? How exactly?
All you'll see is the equivalent of some ugly old dosser with a rotting teeth and a serious BO problem turning up to a party in a Jaguar with a 20 year old model in his arm telling everyone how how mummy always told him he was gorgeous and could have his pick of the girls, it just took winning £250m on the lottery before everyone else realised.
Any success Newcastle have from now on isn't evidence of their real status or proof that they deserved it all along, it's artificial BS.
You really don’t have a high opinion of our Geordie brethren Coconut. What’s happened did Tracey and San the Fat Sl*gs turn you down for a threesome on your last visit ?

A bit like us and Jim Smith .
Not really. Jim built a fantastic team but was in decline when he left which was sad.Think he suffered when McClaren left . Had the opportunity to be DOF but turned it down. Bad choices to replace him caused us problems after that.
Not a criticism of the BE I was a massive fan but towards the end it was right for him to step down. -

No the truth. Morris attempted to run roughshod over everything. The drone to check on training, sacking Keogh but not Lawrence because it saved him money, delaying at every turn to cover for his 'accountancy' shenanigans, and to leave Derby in this state.
