Probably our most known Derby fan, King John aka Robert Lindsay

Jram got a reaction from Taribo in Alex Pritchard signed for Sunderland
6 months of research went into that post, approximately 5 months 30 days 23 hours and 59 minutes longer than our recruitment team

Would hope Manchester United, Everton and DC United but expect Belper, long Eaton Ladies and Tamworth Shrews

Probably a no.. in my head he’s really good because I’ve seen him score once or twice but he’s clearly not given his apps and the fact Huddersfield are letting him go

Jram got a reaction from GenBr in Transfer window summer 2021
Oh god, I just really hope we get lucky and someone like Watson or Stretton have a mad breakthrough season with loads of goals and/or assists
At the moment, it does look really bad on the investment front so another relegation scrap seems likely
Only positives: maybe Jozwiak/Sibley will be much improved, Lawrence not missing three months might make a big difference... and now for the coup de grace of clutching at straws... IBE?

Jram reacted to Sparkle in Transfer window summer 2021
Fairly pointless discussing who at this stage whilst we have no money to consider using.
so stick with the youngsters we have and hope to bring some decent ones in and that will all depend on the manager and how that manager wants to try and play before the practicalities of the championship take over - we need the obvious 3 centre half’s signing who are good enough for the championship plus at least two centre forwards and hopefully a more creative central midfielder but we might have that player if the rest are fixed in front and behind our current midfield.
I fully expect us to be selling Lawrence while we can get money for him and I would sell jozwiak especially if he has a good Euros and we can get a decent return on him.
there will be a huge amount of unemployed footballers out there come July

Would he see a move to the Rams as a step up as things stand?Unless he is out of contract can’t see us having the money to sign players like him. He does look a decent player though ?

Jram reacted to IslandExile in Statement from Mel?
I think it's fair to say that we are all getting impatient for news.... What will be the nature of the EFL punishment? Will we find new owners? Will we be selling anyone? Will we be able to sign anyone?
In the meantime, there have been calls for Mel to make a statement. People are dissatisfied with what the club put out last week and, irrespective of any delicate negotiations, they demand an update from the owner.
The only way people would be satisfied, if he were to do so, would be if he laid it all bare and on the line, something like this:
"Thanks to chasing the dream and Covid, the club is in a poor financial state. I've gone as far as I can and need to hand it over to someone else. We've tried with three different parties to accomplish a takeover but, either because they couldn't fund it or because they were put off by the size of the task, none of those deals have been achieved.
"Consequently, I will try to fund the club in order to keep it out of administration. But we will have to cut costs. We will be forced to sell the best of our promising youngsters, at cut prices, just to be able to pay the day to day running costs.
"Of course, it means we do not have the money to buy the goal scoring striker(s) that we desperately need. We may not even be able to afford loan fees.
"That, along with a likely points deduction for next season - and a rookie manager - all means we are very likely to struggle - even more than last season."
And here's the crunch...
"We need support now from our great fans. Even though the football will be dire, shocking performances and awful results, we need everyone to renew their season tickets, buy merchandise and support the club in every monetary way possible."
Really, people are saying that they want honesty and openness, what do they really expect him to be able to say?
Would you renew season tickets etc if you knew we were heading for League 1 with barely a whimper?
Edit: I just wanted to add that I, too, would like more honest communication from the club - it's just that I don't think they can, not in a way that wouldn't cause more damage if the situation is as bad as we all suspect.

I've thought about that. I'm not advocating anything like kidnapping but there must be a way.
Could the expert legal team, that we've now assembled, attempt to persuade him that the phrase "once a Ram, always a Ram" is actually contractually binding?

Jram reacted to JfR in What will our punishment be?
Should be noted that Sheffield Wednesday's 6 point (originally 12 point) penalty was for an £18m overspend during the three-year period in question, one that the club was aware of having committed. That would seem a far more serious P&S rule break than what Derby are accused of.

Given that the LAP basically told the accountants on the DC that they knew nothing about accounting, I reckon they're going to be lenient. £1 fine and permission to live rent-free in Steve Gibson's head for another season.

Jram reacted to Mckram in WHY
Love it when people’s argument for doing things differently is not signing poor players.
Imagine being Mel, like actually being Mel and when someone comes to you and says we think this player will be amazing for Derby but it’s £6m you’re going to have to pay out your own pocket for them. Ignore his net worth as a lot of that is tied up money he doesn’t have access to. It’s real cash and will impact him greatly.
He must have had some ridiculously hard calls to make and it was all to take Derby to the next level and please us fans. I will never slate him because I’m fairly certain if I had the money he did I’d have made a lot more mistakes along the way.
If he won at Wembley against QPR or Villa then he is a hero to everyone, simple as that.

Jram reacted to LazloW in WHY
Everything is easy in hindsight. I’m sure every decision that has been made has been made with the best of intentions and the best interests of the club. It would be hard to conclude that many of those decisions have not turned out to be the best, but it’s easy to be wise after the event.
A lot of things that have gone wrong are also ‘sporting’ issues, which I refuse to blame the owner for. Backing your manager isn’t a crime. Bringing in managers with decent CVs and footballing pedigree isn’t a crime. There are plenty of examples of teams who underperform out there and it is rarely the owner’s fault. That’s the nature of football I’m afraid. Sometimes other teams are better than you. It happens.
I think a lot of negative things have happened all at once which has led to a lot of conflating of issues and 2+2 is equaling 5 in a lot of cases. But I’m not angry (I’m not even faux angry) - more than anything I’m just sad that it’s turned out this way and sad for Mel as well.

Jram reacted to Wolfie20 in Lee Buchanan - Gone to Werder Bremen
It's about time the young players were cut some slack - Buchanan, Bird and Knight are still only 20 and Sibley 19. You mention Hendrick and Hughes - we knew Will was a special talent, at least at Championship level - but they were 24 and 22 before getting their 'big' moves - who knows what level our youngsters will be at in 4 years time.
They have just had to endure a fight against relegation which would have tested the most seasoned professionals let alone those with very little experience - what a horrendous season in which to try and be fully integrated into the Clubs'senior squad.
One of the saving graces about having no fans in the ground is at least, with things going wrong, the boo boys are kept at bay.

It’s exactly this. It’s pure relief and emotion spilling out. We’d be hammering the players for not caring if they just snuck off after the match.
