  1. Long journey to fill and Mr CBR doesnt talk when driving 🙄

    - Dwight just adds that touch of class and he works so hard around their defenders. Really noticed energy reduction up top when he came off

    - Also listen to his post match interview on rad derby if you get chance. Extremely complimentary about everything at Derby and the environment PW has created. Seems to be just loving it and it shows

    - Barks is like a player reborn - the change in him is immense. Always thought seemed not bothered. Loving him and Gayle together at the moment and takes pressure off Nat

    - Robbie Savage singing away to steve bloomer's watching but then moaning away. Scruffy git also. Loved Savage junior's foul throw in front of him

    - moment their goalie was signalling for VAR check on penalty was hilarious

    - great atmosphere - wasnt expecting such feistiness tonight

I should have added @Millenniumram: I have no idea how reliable either you or your source are but, if I was a betting man (which I’m not) I’d doubt it enough to offer you a bet that PW won’t resign if we get promoted.

Not sure - apart from before home games when he seems to really like Steve Bloomer's Watching - he doesnt seem overly enamoured with us/the club but he perhaps hides it well

  3. Enjoyed this afternoon after Tues. Sibbers and Ward were excellent. Very pleased for Sibbers as always. Brilliant from Ward to keep the ball alive and deliver for the third. I like Gayle so far - always looked like he would score that - makes me laugh alternating between bursts of speed and hobbling creaking at the seams.  I'm sorry though but I dont think I'll ever warm to Barks. May just be his body language but just never seems bothered and, other than that little touch to Adams, thought was poor but perhaps just me.

Port Vale didnt employ the usual League 1 dark arts as badly as some. And for once well reffed on the whole.

I live in breadsall estate, with a lot of greens and you never see boys playing football like the did when mine were young. Dont know if its parents not letting them play out or sitting playing video games all day. Sad really.

You mentioning your sons reminds me of my favourite ever forum moment - dont suppose anyone knows where it was and could repost the exchange? I would never find it

Seriously, why would you post on a thread about away tickets when you have posted that you have no interest in actually going to games.

No one is bullying you, just responding to your constant carping.

I started the away ticket thread to communicate and where possible help other fans with any information I might have, and quite frankly I find it insulting that you think I’m saying I’m a better fan than anyone else and I’m sure anyone looking at this thread is not looking for more Warne out jibes.

You say you won’t be bullied and then tell me to stick to commenting on the football.

How about you stick to posting up information from other sites, something you do that is actually useful and informative 🍻

As someone who can rarely make away games due to stuff going on this thread is invaluable when we can but I love reading it anyway. So thank you. My biggest hope of Cambridge away is looking v unrealistic this year. However I have a slight complaint as your away match minibreak travel reporting on matchday threads has lessoned of late. Perhaps a winter thing

There is one point that needs to be clarified before I would even consider applying.

Are Tea and Chocolate Hobnobs  provided free at the meetings. Best get the important issues out in the open at the earliest opportunity👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Well you wont be allowed coffee from PW's machine so hope so

And that's fair enough too - if I lived that far from Derby then I might think differently but as I've only ever lived a bus ride away, travelling to and from home games has never been an issue.

I wasn't having a dig at anyone with my post so apologies if it came over that way, everyone has to make up their own mind based on their individual circumstances, I was just stating how I felt based on my personal circumstances.

No-one thought you were. It is more difficult with a longish journey and work for midweeks to factor in. We have 4 season tickets - my son's off to uni so that will be mainly wasted and my mum's getting older and doesnt do most evening ones esp when cold so not sure what we'll do. Last night on way home thought no way if stay down and Warne stays but who knows
