Great win and great performance from Dal. Certainly having a great season. Gone from not batting and bowling and being in the team for no apparent reason to a quality all-rounder.

Great performance. I didn’t think either of them looked in any trouble (which might be a little worrying!). Great fight back though - they have showed good character.

Just thought I would look at the score. Masood sat twiddling his thumbs in Pakistan is a bit of a blow isn’t it.

It's not quite that simple though is it? We have evidence that is beyond deniable that our climate is changing so the simple question that faces us now (and it is not a question, sadly, that you and I can answer) is "knowing all of this, do we want to do anything about it - recognising it will likely impact significantly the way we all live our lives?"
And this is where I do have some sympathy with Extinction Rebellion - as I see it they are trying to shake us up and give us the shock we need to actually do something about it. If we don't then it does look like we will leave a planet behind for our descendants that will struggle to support us all in the way we live today - with all the consequences that will bring. I could get all aloof and snotty and ask if it really worth the extra HD television, skiing holiday, third car for the weekend and other things that many might consider unnecessary given the likely impact. But, as said earlier, we (nearly) all think what we do is necessary - I travel up to see Derby on the train, I will buy a new car in the next couple of years, I leave the lights on sometimes and forget.
Again, either we (the human race) do something about it or we don't - and every evidence suggests that the collective view of humanity today is that the new television is worth it, our kids can figure out the mess, we don't really need polar bears anyway. Extinction Rebellion are simply trying to force the discussion, given that forty years of trying to do it via conventional routes has had pretty much no impact.

Last season was one of my favourites of all time. The togetherness in adversity was quite unique. I enjoyed celebrating each goal, each win, each throw in when our backs were against the wall. The last minute mental against those lovely Birmingham fans so full of empathy, the incredible atmosphere against Fulham when we all reasonably knew it was over and Forsyth wiping the ball with a towel against the cockwombles from West Brom. All with my lad by my side and a heart full of Pride. Duck the EFL.

If we sell 15k season tickets it will be phenomenal, truly exceptional support, we would start the season averaging around 17/18k
After what we've been through coupled with the economic tsunami enveloping us, it would be a fantastic show from this great fanbase of ours.
If, if, we get anywhere near 18 or 20k  ST's then I will run out of terminology to describe the magnificent awesomeness of the devoutness of the diaspora of Derby County FC devotees.?
There will be games where we have very little away support at Pride Park, some games we won't have horrible away fans like Brum, Stoke, Gumps etc to bait (at least we'll have Sheffield's second club I suppose), there'll be cold days playing average football, Division 3 is brutal, but we can make this season as enjoyable as the last one from a fans point of view.
Bring it on, the South Stand is going to be full, the SW corner too, lets get behind Liam and the boys with loud, passionate support from the first game no matter how many are in the ground.

I think that we will build a squad capable of competing and even winning promotion this season. I have had a sizeable bet on us winning the league and another on us getting promoted, but my expectations are set at enjoying the season...I want to see our fans showing the same joy and passion whether we won lose or draw as we saw last season. To me that is far more important than anything else.
We had the best fans and created the best atmosphere home and away last season...let's do the same again.
