Born in Crewe. Supported home town til late 60s when Dad took me to watch Derby play Bolton in Div2 and the Rams won 5-1.
Loved the BBG, the fans, and the 'beautiful game' being crafted by a talented young manager.
Funny how things have changed coz Crewe now play sexy football and have a brilliant manager ...

Why wouldn’t Citeh want him developed by one of the best forwards to play the game….fook me they should be paying us to look after him for the season ?

Still recovering from a brain haemorrhage and now turned 80 means long journeys to Derby by myself are now off the menu,though my son and my stepson insist they’ll get me to PP again. My partner had hoped that having my brains scrambled might have helped me forget about the Rams - but I pointed out that it actually helped!

I know we've seen comparatively little of Cashin but on yesterdays showing he has some talent. Maybe better to sign experienced CBs and develop Cashin?

Can’t we afford ink or something? Any reason to space them out ?

I’m loving the “fans not from Derbyshire” topic by @kash_a_ram_a_ding_dongand the thread already contains some great stories. It led me to think about how many Rams fans there are both around the UK and worldwide. Many older supporters have the common link of the Clough era, and the dominance of the club in the 70’s, and this has been passed down the through generations in a lot of families. The local support is also massive.
I live in a small town in the South West, but I know dozens of Rams, even in a tiny rural community. If I try to translate this, I would estimate perhaps 300k Rams fans worldwide, surely enough for a takeover ???? What would others estimate??
