Understand - and agree - with the principle, but sprinkle a little context in here and maybe Mel derserves a little more slack.  Times have changed even since his tenure began; EFL attitude & approach, the commercial perils of running an 'entertainment' business in these uncertain times to name a couple of mitigating factors.  Not offering excuses here, just saying it's never as 'black and white' (pardon the pun) as it may at first seem, imho.

Loads of people do. I took my own son from a young age and he still goes today. He will love mate and it’s cheap enough as a test to see if he does enjoy it

I agree with this too. I have been a big MM supporter over the years but I feel he's made a few errors that have cost us dearly financially and the knock on effect it has had on the squad.
When/if we get sold, imo i'll view his tenor as "disappointing".

With their policy, best described as: Yeah, but no, but yeah, but no, it wouldn't be a terrible idea if someone with photoshopping skills were to make a big poster of Rick ‘Vicky Pollard’ Parry and we all clubbed together to put it on a billboard outside EFL HQ, like those lads at Led by Donkeys who call out the lies of politicians.

Just brilliant to see Curtis twisting on a pitch again. Hope it’s a portent of his intention to re-sign.

You could always vote with your feet. You do not have to support DCFC other clubs are available. As long as you close the door on your way out.

The consequences being a £100k fine which I’m sure we will accept, but sadly the EFL won’t.
And if our re-submitted accounts comply with the spending limits for which there is growing consensus they will, then we haven’t gained an advantage, and not done a lot wrong making this whole thing an unnecessary witch-hunt, whatever you think of Mel Morris, Stephen Pearce or your extreme and constant negativity towards the club in general.

This ongoing saga is going to drag on well into next year as has already been reported.
If we have the next two seasons in the Championship I will happily walk through Derby City centre wearing an expensive watch and smart clothes.

For an organisation to approve and sign off on accounts for 3 seasons, to then turn round and say hold up, you know how we approved those accounts? Yeah, we don’t anymore and decided we want to retrospectively punish you by relegating you.
Whatever your thoughts on Mel, the signings, appointments the colour of his shoes, this is just insanity, it honestly is and it’s vindictive insanity even taking club bias out.
This case should worry every single owner, manager and fan of clubs under the shambolic EFL pyramid.
Including that Championship club where the owner owns another club over in Greece, transferring players between each other to circumvent FFP restrictions without even trying to hide it and the EFL are blind to it.
Our real crime here let’s be honest is being better than Middlesbrough one season, that’s the big issue here.
We’ve upset this little bloke up North sat in his half empty stadium so much he’s had his lawyers out to shake the EFL suits up.
Then you have that Karen Maguire over on Twitter sticking his great big spoon into the mix as it gives him a hard on and appearances on rogue radio stations and podcasts.
    Absolute joke.
Nobody from the EFL will read this, but if somehow you do, fine yourself, fine yourself for being an inept organisation and if you’re serious about looking out for the best interests of the member clubs, sell up, hand the leagues over as you have shown time after time you are incapable of running them, you’re an embarrassment.

RedSox reacted to S8TY in Have we progressed at all under Rooney?
IMO No ....Cocu did not have the Beilik factor whereas Rooney did and  we may well have had a better start to the season if Beilik had played and Rooney was as sharp and fitter as he was the previous season
The youngsters have not improved for me under Rooney and we seem bereft of a playing style with results papered over with Beilik in the side, he literally made such a difference.
This is why I don't get why we didn't get a CDM in on loan for the remainder of the season Bangime hardly played so surely was imperative to get a holding player in when we had the chance to try and fill the gap

It’s easy to see what he has done. He’s done what any mega rich fan would do. He’s tried to win promotion against clubs owned by billionaires and clubs that receive parachute payments. He’s very nearly succeeded. He’s made mistakes, some foolish and some calculated risks.

ManU fans hate Glazer because he’s in it for the money. IMHO it’s wrong to attribute those motives to Mel.

Myths include the conclusion that he does not take advice from anyone, that he alone did the due diligence on the fake shake and the Spanish dreamer, that he has not put £150 million into the club, that he is a dictator and not a benefactor etc etc.

RedSox reacted to Comrade 86 in EFL appeal
I don't think many are interested in material damages. To my way of thinking, it's a dual-carriage cul-de-sac. Certainly the club have made it clear they've no interest in pursuing this any further, but the EFL 'playbook' will now result in a protracted delay in announcing sanctions, followed by a punishment so outlandish that we will be forced to appeal it and on and on goes the circus unto 'the last syllable of recorded time'.
Their game plan has been clear from the outset, least to my way of thinking. We were always going to be punished for having the temerity to question their stewardship, irrespective of whether we were guilty of any wrongdoing, or not. The irony is that the light has only shone on our apparent 'crimes' against football, whilst the criminal underselling of TV rights has never been mentioned again, least not in the public domain.
If the EFL worked as hard at securing a fair slice of the cake as they do at destroying member clubs they are meant to represent, all of this would be moot. The irony of this is nothing short of astounding.

Though unimpressed with our showing in the last umpteen games I think if anyone needs a break from all things DCFC for a brief period it’s Rooney.
He’s been misled and frankly let down in my opinion so a couple of days away with his lad is not something I can hold against him.
I’ll be back on his case shortly mind. ?

Bruford is a very good answer, he was in 4 of those bands (Yes, King Crimson UK & Gong).
The other more obscure answer is guitarist Allan Holdsworth (also RIP) who was in UK, Soft Machine, Lifetime and Gong.

The late great John Wetton RIP.
Born in Willington and lifelong Rams fan.
For those on here who know nowt about good music, John Wetton was the Bassist & Vocalist with Family, King Crimson, UK and Asia during the 70s and 80s.
In case the bands above aren't familiar, these bands also featured ex members of Roxy Music, Yes, ELP, Soft Machine, Lifetime, Gong,  and of course not forgetting the Buggles (Video Killed the Radio Star).  Special bonus point to anyone who can name the musician who played in 4 of the bands mentioned here.  Special bonus point also to anyone who can name the other 2 musicians with whom Wetton formed a short lived trio in the late 1970s that rehearsed together but never released an album.
    Best places to start are:
    Caught in the Crossfire (solo)
    Red (King Crimson)
    UK (UK)
    Asia (Asia)
    Greetings from the Progiverse, earthlings!
