Basically he appeared not to know and was vague about it. But he said it in such a way that made me think he was suggesting we have a 35 year old who doesn't want to work as hard as everyone is being asked to 

The tactics are totally wrong .
The playing out from the back has become excessive.
Dobbin isn’t a winger .
Knight isn’t a right back .
We are playing 4-2-3-1 but the wingers aren’t protecting the defense by getting back .
Bird can’t play in a 2 .
Collins has no help or service.  

Thought i would sleep on it before commenting on another inept performance 
LR is going to have to switch himself on and quick there are already rumblings on this forum for him to go and i can see why,its glaringly obvious his tactics in this league aint going to cut it again last night we got caught out messing around at the back which led to a goal.
Lets be having it right we have not played any of the so called better teams yet away apart from maybe Charlton and we have yet to register a goal this is not acceptable at any level,things have to change and quick
For me we either play the young lad at right back and move Knight into midfield or play the central defenders and have five across the middle which would also help Collins out having some one at the side of him
Not yet pressed the panic button but two or three more of these performances in the next few games might be the end of LR,we were fortunate to turn the Peterborough game around in the last couple of minutes because if we hadnt we would be overtiring above the bottom 4,Yes you can argue we are still in sight of the play off positions but lets not kid ourselves with that one, performances have been pretty average even when we scrapped wins at home.
The only other observation you could possibly make is since the transfer window closed we have played two and lost them both which may seem some players have took there foot of the pedal,this however is were LR needs to step up to the plate and stop being nicey nicey

Totally agree while we keep playing tippy tappy football across the back four then back to our goalie, our opponents then have ample time to reshape in to two banks of four and ask us to break them down,very evident last night you can have 80% of the game and achieve nothing in fact they could of even nicked it last night.
LR needs to be looking at a long quick ball from time to time or a long throw out by our keeper to Collins to get him involved more we have plenty of young runners around him,worked a treat when Chris Martin held it up.

Yes, we can all read the league table. No-one is saying that is the problem.
I think most people understand this season will be a grind and teams will make it difficult for us.
I also think most people understand that we are a work in progress and we’re looking at somewhere in the top half. Top six if we put results together and 7-12th if we just tick along.
It’s not an overreaction. No-one wants Rosenior’s head on a stick. People want him to be more flexible, more adaptable, rather than sticking rigidly and stubbornly to a philosophy that has proven time and time again not to get the best out of us in an attacking sense.
We have a brand new midfield and a brand new front three. New players, yet same old mechanisms. It doesn’t bode well. It doesn’t set the right tone.
If that continues, frustration will only grow. People can accept when other teams are better, but it’s more difficult to accept when we are our own worst enemy.

Whilst I'm optimistic for the coming season my only concern is whether we do learn and take on board anything from games like this. Last season we had 23 away games to learn and adapt, and final dead rubber against Blackpool aside, we failed miserably to do so and continued to slavishly follow the same tactics even when they were clearly not working. 

Yes very very true in what you say and although these are friendly games and dont read to much in to them blah blah blah i think LR hit it on the head last night by saying the way Stevenage played are the sort of games we will expect to see this coming season and we need to be switched on better,these sides are not going to role over

I'm not getting carried away, and certainly not assuming we'll romp the league as this is one tough league to get out of, but I must confess with the announcements so far, a little bit of wee has definitely leaked out.

Yep looks that way and were a week away from our first friendly fixture next weekend cant even muster a 5 a side team we have no goalkeeper

Imagine the culture shock when we get Tw*tted by Oxford and everyone that think's we'll walk the league will have to face the reality of the position we're in

More likely they will cancel because there not interested in a five a side game

Are they going to cancel on us when they twig we're actually a League 1 team

Wow getting relegated to the third tier has really hit home. We're going to be playing in the Papa John's Trophy next season.
